He's right to be concerned. I too stand to lose out bigtime from the CU. Ive been around since day 1. During that time Ive spent every credit on the one thing that can make me better than everyone else...skill tapes. I personally will lose about 80 million credits worth once the CU hits. All because defense vs dizzy and defense vs KD, and defense vs posture change wont exist anymore.
And im out even more money if the devs nerf mind buff or health buff crystals. I've got 40 million (10 of them) worth of mind buff crystals and 7 health buff (14 million) crystals set aside.
So if all goes as planned and crystals are nerfed as I suspect they will be, Im out 134 million credits. Thats a lot when your bank account is at 3 million.

If SOE eliminates the Def vs AAs or CAs, ALOT OF PEOPLE WILL BE PISSED...including myself. If that does happen, I pray that a whole crap load of people cancel their accounts. I know I will. Then they might wake up if they lose half their customer base in 1 day. Can they be really that stupid? Is that really possible?

I've heard old ca's/aa's will be coverted to fit into the new system. However what the Dev's decide to convert them into is another matter

anyway, back to subject...
i feel your pain when it comes to time and credits invested. i have over1400 items on my storage vendor and alot of them are dot weapons, ca's , aa's etc
after the CURB goes live ill prob be too disgusted to sort thru all that stuff to figure out whats good and whats not. its alot less hassle to just click the "remove vendor" button on the radial menu lol

As a player of over 12 month, who havemultiple accounts and didn't look twice at anynew "flash-in-the-pan" games that have some screaming WOW...I consider myself an ambassador or sorts for SWG and have worked hard, not only to enhance my own experience, but also to help others not only get started, but to retain them long-term to keep our server and SWG as a whole fun, exciting and populated. While some of the changes in the CU will be great, there is a "business side" that it appears may have been completely over looked.
For example, I have purchased and store over 30 comp armor suits, 15 sets of stun comp and 20 sets of Ubese armor. It makes sense to buy in bulk, especially when you are giving it away to help others.It is frustrating to think that 10's of millions of credits will be lost at my expense, all while I am trying to help the very game that is biting my financial wallet and ripping it to shreads. From what I have read, this is the conclusion that I have arrived at anyway, does anyone have a different understanding that doesn't leave me living in a cardboard box in May outside Bestine?
A Players "NET-WORTH" includes not only their credits, but the items that they have and can resell. If I am correct in my assumption, I may be forced to consolidate my property to one toon and cancel the others due to the slap happy NERF herders. I have yet to hear if there will be any kind of compensation for such a circumstance, but I doubt that there will be. I applaud the work of the Devo team to make one dimention of the game more fair and attractive, however there is a cause and effect to everything we do and some of us are going to be hurt very, VERY badly.

As for whiner dude...Hey...Some of us actually care about the future of the game and work our butts off to make sure it survives...
I did read the updates and it still is not clear exactly how this will all fall into place.

Well....the only whiners in this post is all you super crafters who are afraid of loosing a bit of money...
Well i guarentee you you wont. Its gonner be a whole different game, with new armors and weapons...btw, i dont hear the WS complain....so you will have tons of opportunies to make more money. You have always done so, when something new comes out, by overpricing the first few weeks.
So dont worrie, you wont loose a credit.
Another thing, 50% of the players are afaried of changes to the game....why...??...when they did the Jedi rewamp...dammit a lot of griefing and whining...did i write dammit...yes i did...i hope im not gonner get BANNED....

I am an artisan/architect/merchant so my business will be fane...no changes really. My concern was simply about what I have currently...I appreciate the efforts of the devo team and knwo that they are doing this in the hopes of bettering the game...lets hope that it isnt to painful is all I'm saying.
