Thread: Unequal treatment of rebel items.

In what sense do the rebels have less loot than imperials? The only thing I can think of is the rebel helmet, for which the imperial version is the grey hat...
Don't forget that the "wanted" posters, although common as muck, are for rebels only to loot. The "Freedom" poster is also rebel related loot, opposite to the black and white stormtrooper poster.

Rofl. Explaininglack of attentionas continuity. I think I just pee'd myself.
umm... its not lack of attention at all, just because you are pissed you dont have every peice of loot in the game dosnt mean u have to say the devs did it wrong...
think about it, why would rebels be busy making holograms like the Star Destroyer? or Wanted posters? where would they hang them? the Empire controls the galaxy u forget

Whaa the whiny Rebel wants everything!
The helmet you want is gone and the devs should not bring it back. Loot should only be available for a time then they should move on and give us something new. If they had kept it in game it would have been worthless like the Tusken helmets for sale for a couple of hundred credits. But you don't care about that since you just want every single loot to be available all the time. I disagree. That helmet if it never comes back becomes a veteran reward since the vet players probably have them already.
EvilNerf wrote:Is it just me or is there VAST difference between Rebel and Imperial Items in terms of quantity.Seems the only good non vet reward rebel item is the Rebel Helmet (ie, the one used by the rebels on endor)and that isn't even available anymore. The Armor looks like something that came out of wookiee dung and even worse on species other then Humans, Zabraks and Twi'leks. Imperials have a wide selection, cool looking armor, Imperial Officer Uniforms (including hat) and plenty of Imperial Themed posters.I've been trying to get some rebel garb by recreating outfits from the movies, but its hard finding a good tailor who can match the shades in the movies.Stuff we could use:Rebel Helmet back in the gameSome kind of Rank bearing rebel uniform (ie, Crix Madine's, Dodonna's, Ackbar's, Reiken's, the Hoth Troopers' or late RotJ leia's)Those dome hats used in ANH.The hats used by rebel Troopers and Luke on HothCamo PonchoRebel posters (Fight the Empire, Remember Alderaan, Join the alliance, death star Exploding, that sort of thing...)
To be honest, you should even be glad the devs set aside time and resources to make Rebel Armor. The Rebels only sported Armor ONCE on a wide basis... Hoth.
But I will agree that Rebel Armors look like clumps of sun-dried-turds spray painted green or olive green.
Imperial gear does look more spiffy. Uniforms, Armors, flight suits (Rebel flightsuits still better... if only the devs depicted them more faithfully to the movies). The only gear from the movies that the Rebels had better looking, hands down, were their starfighters. The X-Wing is still one of the most iconic science fiction craft ever.
* The Rebel RotJ helmet does need to get back into the game for players.
* The Rebel Fleet Trooper Helmet needs to be brought into the game for players (From ANH; aboard the Tantive IV).
* Rank plates need to be allowed for players (Both Imperial and Rebels). Imperial Officers had Rank Cylinders in addition to their plates. These are placed on the sides of their tunics.
* I vaguely recall the poncho in RotJ also. Would have to dig out the DVDs.

First, the "whiny" Rebel made a resonable list of items that would add alittle flavor to the game for roleplayers or people who just wanna look like a rebel. A few helemts and a poncho is far from everything, NOCHODEWI.
Secondly, there is nothing wrong with keeping loot in the game. Why should a piece of clothing go for several million credits simply because it is impossible to get in-game anymore. Is anything more unfair then to cause the price of an item that many people want to inflate by stopping its production? The Tusken Helmet is worthess, yes but still looks cool as hell!
Third, what if a vet didn't get the helemt? Tough luck? Once again something incredably unfair. Why should they be punished (not being able to get a helmet) simply because they didn't do a quest.
Alos, FYI:next time you post your opinion, don't attempt to make fun of the original poster, it brings you down and makes everything you say alittle harder to take serious.
