Ok, so lets say I put this in my pretty 800 dmg Power Hammer, with the condition on it never go down no matter how much I use it, Or is there some catch to this item?

Yes. If you destroy the weapon the kit was used on, you will get the kit back to use again.
This is good and bad... I think they put this in to add a bit of fun as people with great weapons were too scared to use them in case they broke... BUT... There are major balancing issues. The lucky guy who looted an exceptional T21 a year back would own every loot right he wanted for a while.. till the gun died and other players had a chance. Now that one guy can spam away with his uber rifle for ever ![]()
It also has to be a worry for weaponsmiths... for obvious reasons. We will see.

Anyone try it with speeders? Will it work, would like to put it on my AV-21 but don't want to waste it.

From what I understand, it works on items that are insurable + weapons. So since your speeder "maintenance" isn't something preventable via insurance (or granted the weapon exception), it won't do your speeder any good.
Note that I have NOT tried this myself - but applying it to an AV-21 and have it not take any effect... Well, you'd need to destroy the AV-21 to "maybe" get the kit back. Too scary for me.

then test it on a speederbike or an x-34

if you want your anti-decay back, you must destroy the item you used it on.. so basically, an anti-decay kit is a 2-edge sword.. damned if you use it, damned if you don't.. you must decide if you want something even when decayed, or forever destroy it from existance if you want your kit back..
but you can always buy an anti-decay kit from someone else for afew million
