lol i was messin with ya in that first post but yea ive killed hundreds and hundreds (enough for about 10 jetpack bases if that gives ya an idea) and the drop rate as best as we can tell averages out to be 1/25

i got 1 loot in 10 the other night but have killed 10 more with no loot i would say the 1 in 20 or 1 in 25 would be accurate

id say 1 in 25 sounds right however that dosent mean your garrentied to get loot if you kill 25

and how the heck do you kill them solo? I seem to get absolutely wrecked by these guys even while using 8155 energy armor, a 1970 energy psg and a capped laser rifle, its like I barely scratch them before im wasted and I have 4000 cm too for healing lol

it sounds like your trying to kill more than one at a time
with mobs that high in level your only chance is to take them one at a time
