Oh man, these NPC's are exploiters !
Do CSRs have a sense of humor? Submit a ticket on it and see what they say.
Just to submit some feedback on this aspect of the game.
I submitted a ticket, and the reply that I received back was we have investigated the loss, but could find nothing in the logs. I don't quite rightly know how to take that...are they saying I lied about the jacket.
Anyway, bygones! I have bought a new BE jacket and have started kitting it out with skill tapes, as and when I see a good one.
Still is fun using these in game props though.
One thing I really liked about them is the JUKEBOX. Why can't we have this as a permanent feature in our houses? That would be really nice.
So there you go.....watch out for those in game actors lol

what the heck are you talking about...Actor rental? Do you mean a vendor? im confused
If you go into a city Hotel, and turn right you will find, in one of the rooms an in game rental NPC. You can rent items from these guys like crashed ATAT's, downed Tie fighters and X-wings, Sand crawlers and loads more different things, along with different structures.
Also you can hire an actor that you can customise, to act and say different things when other player characters interact with them. You can also drag your clothing from your inventory onto these NPC actors and they will "wear" it...Just DON'T EXPECT TO GET IT BACK. Lol
I am assuming that this is what happened to the OP.
Just be glad you did not drag anything really expensive onto it!!!!

Yep, you'll lose all clothing that you dress your vendors in. That's why merchants dressed in full suits of RIS were/are so impressive.
