To anyone on the SOE staff who cares,
Please tell me that you have a solution in the works that will take care of the ridiculous loot camping in the game.

Yes, they do have a solution in the works. It's removal of looping macros (FINALLY). No more AFK TKMs beating the everloving crap out of NPCs they shouldn't even glance at at their level.
Instead, if they want to do this, they'll have to be actually playing the game....this means that they can be persuaded (whether through polite requests or angry duel challenges) to leave if they stay for 3+ hours.
Or, you could just be like me, and move in on their territory right now - my loot character is a novice carbineer at the moment, and if I find an AFK looter, I just sit there and kill faster than they can for awhile. After all, ranged professions are better than melee professions for speed-looting.

while this helps against the afk looter, it totally screws with the entertainer. I use looping macros while still playing so that I can chat with people in the cantina. This will destroy this and in my case, ill stop entertaining and buffing people.

I think that they should make it so the mobs dont attack you at the high level and that they remove the /cycle command. That will prevent anyone from using a macro to target and attack these mobs that new low level characters use to grind there way up to higher levels. The looping macro should stay in place. For the reason of Entertainers....but not the afk ones. Something needs to be done about them.

Sorry, it just destroys "bots", at any case macros will be in game and when your macro ended, you can just press 1 Function key to restart again.

They can take away looping macroes but that won't affect anything... anyone with a brain knows how to work around it

Unless they take away the ability for macros to hit the toolbar slots then you can have a macro repeat it self very easily... albeit annoyingly drawn out

I dont want to have to mess with pushin a funtion key again. I shouldnt have to. I dont want to write a long macro to do that. I dont want to have to import a macro in everyday to do that becuase long macros cannot be saved.
And bots are a part of the game because the entertainment community has FAILED big time.

The only reason Entertainers are not actively in the cantinas is because they feel that they cannot compete with the "bots" that are running in them 24/7. If you really want to know how many entertainers are logged in you might want to check the ENT channels that are on most servers. There are a lot more than you think.

My alt is a musician. If the weaker entertainers can't handle not having looping macros, that's fine. More tips for me. Entertainers should not be reliant on looping macros to enjoy their profession.
And I believe they're eliminating the ability to hit a toolbar button from macros. So yeah, bye-bye AFK bots.

To get this back on track, ....
Looping macros are only part of the problem. I am talking about people who log at critical places, time their log in and camp the loot. Acklay, Min Axkva, etc. Where they can log in, buff themselves, drop the MOB, loot and then log off again.
Or folks who just do their best to completely own a place like Fort Tusken. I mean damn. Come on. The place is big enough and the spawn rate fast enough to keep several people busy. No need to farm it like it belongs solely to you.
