I don't have any info yet about it, but I really hope we will play a role with the cybernetics. Many players want them for the look only and that's what we are about, aren't we?

Clicky
You need to use the html editor to make a clicky.
I'd love us to be involved with "equipping" the cybernetic limb, we are plastic surgeons after all. I like your idea of being able to cover them up too cause I hate the idea of everybody running around with them, kind of unrealistic.

IF they do look like that (and I hope they do)
I hope doctors will install them, IDers make them look like flesh and could also change their color,
and i'm not sure who should make them.

I'd like to see DEs craft them with some sort of BE made subcomponent.
Docs installing would work for me so long as we have *some* sort of involvement with them. Your suggestion is probably the best I've heard, gets more proffesions involved and keeps our role more IDish.

Good thinking ![]()
that gets me thinking, I would hate to see IDer get into crafting, but buying a blank skin/covering from a BE would be cool.

If I recall, ID's get the title "Cosmetic Surgeon" because they change height, weight, face, etc. Basically, cosmetic surgery. I don't see an implant/prosthesis as too much more than cosmetic surgery.I think it'd be wonderful if ID's were the ones to install them. It said somewhere players could remove them at will, but it never said anything about attaching them.

I agree, docs do not need a role in thier installation, we do. Docs already have a role, buffing..

Yeah, this doesn't really fall under the realm of doctor stuff. I can see them being made by DE's, enhanced by BE's and installed by ID's.

I have a feeling they're going to be a loot kit or quested item. Hopefully, it will require a crafting profession to at least assemble it like the AV-21.

" IF " cybernetics or cosmedic only and does not buff, I'd be happy to install them, But I doubt that.
To come to think of it Why would any one with a prefectly good arm want to get a cybernetic one?
They are not as good a real ones
I think it would be more Star Warsy to have itso atdeath high level players have a random chance of lossing a body part,
and thenneeding cybernetics. So cybernetics are not a buff but a debuff fix/heal .......... or maybe only if kill by a jedi?
