Thread: We should be able to change the race of toons :p

Skin Color - We're in a highly advanced universal society, altering the dna sequencing for skin pigment coloration doesn't seem far fetched at all.
Eye color - Same as the skin color explanation, or even simpler, CONTACTS.
Height - This ones a bit of a chin tugger, "leg extensions" is probably the best explanation really.
Weight - Liposuction, or in the cass of adding weight, perosnal training.
Facial Structure - Cosmetic Surgery
Yeah, let's look at that actual approved quote from the clicky:

This info came to us from Producer, Dallas Dickinson.
The Gamespy article said that we would be given this ability with the big CU push. This quote just says that IDs would not be given this ability during the actual CU. Which we know is true, that ability was not given.
It does not say that this will not be added ever.
It does not say that GameSpy lied - it only says that what was reported as part of the CU push wasn't actually going to make it into those changes. To me, it is obvious that this was the plan when the GameSpy reporter was doing his interview and at some point after the interview that addition was pulled and GameSpy was not notified.
This says nothing about the very old answer of "Lucas said no."
All in all, this is a very safe statement for the forums from a very smart producer giving absolutely no background info or future commitment either way to this addition.
All of this is totally public.
How does that sound?
nah screw a 'real answer' just say:
You should take time in the choice you make for your toons species, gender, and name
if you find any of the three unfit for your gameplay after a time,
either rollover into a new toon, or try a new combonation on another server
it's a game folks, if your gonna spend amonth wishing you were a Rodian..go make one already.
