I'm getting tired of this scenario:
Person comes in and requests a stat migration, andthey agree to my required price which is usually 10k if I was already sitting in there. After the migration ends I notice I can't commit to the changes because the person does not have 10k on their person and they knew this from the beginning, then we argue over why they should have to pay me at all. Finally they either close the window and start harassing me or they bank tip the money so I will commit and then they harass me.
Please allow it to come from the bank, I mean no one has to visit the bank to bank tip so it's not much of a stretch and it will force the cheapskates to pay without wasting my time. I have better things to do than sit around for 10 minutes only to have some jerk try to rip me off.

I was under the impression that if you don't have the money on you, putting the amount into the ID interface will pull the money from wherever it's available. It's been a while since I've tested this though, I'll have to log Fuschia on and see.

It will take the money from the bank, at least it did last week.

I just had my stats migrated, had no cash on my person, and tipped the ID who did the work for me 15k in the window. So yep, itcan comefrom the bank.

Was it the tipped or required fee? Every time I try to require a fee if they don't have it on them it won't let me commit unless I lower it to an amount they have on them or set it back to 0.

Definitely it can come from their bank account. Now, whether it can if you put a required fee or not, I don't know. Since I don't do stat migrations and otherwise work for tips. Someone ought to check on this, could be a bug

It was a tip from the kindness of my heart. (She gives away Stat Migrations, and advertises this through spamming. Normally I'd be pissy about this, but I really needed a migration and was short on time and she happened to be free.) BUT, I put it in the UI... I didn't /tip her. And this was with ALL of my money in the bank.
And you, my dear, seem to be getting victimized by mucho people. Even if you need the experience, don't stand for being treated like this. If they argue, cancel the session. So what you lost ten minutes and 2k experience... at least you're not a doormat for people who are going to take advantage of you. In the long run, you'll be happier.
Also, if this really becomes an issue, you might want to have a friend or guildmate who is a high level combat class come with you in the tent and almost act like a middle man of sorts. Nothing is scarier to a noob with a big mouth than a well-established player with a big gun getting in their business.

I'm not exactly victimized, I've always been an entertainer and I've always had to put up with alot of stuff because people really don't want to pay us. On my dancer I've accepted that, on my IDer I've started requiring that they tip me ahead of time to save me the trouble. Sometimes I forget though and the above happens afterwards which is irritating. I just want to be sure that the required payment is working because it's really annoying to sit there for 10 minutes helping someone who refuses to pay when I could've taken care of a paying customer.
I'm a little too nice on my Dancer/IDer too though, I guess it's because I enjoying doing it. Ever since stat migration was introduced it's gotten frustrationg though. People used to know what they wanted and it didn't take so long for me to help them, now it takes areal time investmentso I expect a payment for my services. I guess I just need to make sure to tell them what's required upfront or let them find someone cheaper(20k seems to be the norm on chilastra though). Some people will remove their armor and weapon just to pretend to be new though which is equally annoying.

The ID Interface pulled from the bank as of last night when Miyax made MID (and ithas done sofor some time now). In my experience, it will take from the player's cash, then (if they don't have enough cash on them) itwill pull the remainder from the bank. If I'm doing a stat migration Ialways enter a required payment unless they tip me in advance (which some do).

Yes, you're right. Payment will come from the bank if there aren't enough credits in the customer's pockets, whether or not you put something in the required payment box.

Sounds like you're being had. Keep the asking price as is. Until they enter the same amount from there side it won't let you hit commit. Also, watch out for people that "bank tip" you. People have been known to forge the email and send it. Just have them type the amount into the "amount offered" field and it will pull the cash from where ever it needs to to get it too you.
Good luck.

Thankfully, they fixed the bank tip scam. All bank tips will now say they are from "bank". So the only time this would actually be an issue is if you're dealing with a person named Bank. LOL
