I know this won't be as popular as the other one... because, well, bad stories are always more fun. But I've had a few recent experiences that led me to make this thread. I go through phases where I won't do ID on anyone outside my circle of friends or guildmates, and then I'll do a complete turnaround and literally live inside the ID salon for days on end. And sure, I've had my lousy experiences, but you know what? Overall, they've been fantastic.I had one customer pay me 60k for nothing but a stat migration, a jawline modification and a skin color change. The best one by far though, was yesterday. I got a tell from a client I've worked on before, a female Zabrak. She'd gotten new clothing and wanted a look to complement it. I just changed superficial things - hair color, tattoo color, makeup - but she loved it. Afterward, I told her to let me know if she ever needed another makeover in the future, and she said something along the lines of "I'm sure I will come to you next time I get new clothing." I thanked her for returning to me for THIS clothing upgrade, and she simply said "Well, you're the best." That is, by far, the biggest compliment anyone could ever pay me. It's such a huge rush to know that people consider having their ID work done by me a status symbol - the same as having their weapons specially made by thebest 12 point weaponsmith on the server, or getting their armor from the best armorsmith, or their doc buffs from the best doctor. Wow, what a great feeling!
So, share with me. I know I'm not the only one who has great clients.

Well 2 things. Both today.
1) Guy gave me 50k for a Migration, Hair change and facial hair.
2) I charge 10k-15k and this guy only had 7k, and this last Stat Migration was getting me Face 4 (My last before master!) so I did it for him and he said I was the nicest guy he's met so far. He was probably just saying that, but still it was nice.

I do travel work, which is a major business booster, especially near my current home on Dantooine. My most 'regular' customer is a leader of a small but very capable combat-ey guild on Dantooine. I'll often get customers from his guild with a reference from him. Back a ways, just before 8.1 came out, I was conversing with him over the expected new changes, and we had made an appointment to try them out. Well..I took a short break from ID after 8.1 due to negative comments from other professions. However, he waited and TRACKED ME DOWN to make sure *I* did his image, even though he'd gone to another ID just before me to get a stat migration (Which I was refusing to do at the time).
He always pays well, and is always courteous and understanding, as is all the clients I've gained through his guild. This guy is my example of the ideal combat-persons.

Things I love to hear customers say.
Customer: Be creative and do whatever you want.
Random ID Changes performed
Customer: That's great!
Tip received of 30k
Tip received of 30k
Customer: I hope that's enough.
Me: THANK YOU!!!
It's a very rare thing when you actually get to be creative, the customer shares your creative vision AND tips you MUCH more than you'd expect. But its soooo much fun. Hehe.
Another thing, I had a customer that was really nice to work with and they fed my ego by telling me that I was the best ID they had. Then, like months later, I hadn't seen them in a long time and I get a random tell from them out of the blue just telling me how they thought I was an awesome ID and just wanted me to know that. It was so random but it made me smile.
I also like it when the customers are really courteous and respectful. I had received and email from someone interested in ID work and had heard of my services from someone else. They were so couteous, wanted to know if I had any spare time in the future and if they could set up an appointment at a time that'd be convinient for me, and was just really nice about it. Not demanding or expecting at all. I think it was just the way they did it. They had a really formal and respective tone.
And I love when customers have a sense of humor and like to participate in conversation. When you spend long stretches in the ID tent it tends to make you a little wacky hehe, so it's cool when the customer jokes around with you and has fun.

Once a woman asked for an ID and told me i could do whatever i wanted. Her face was O.K, but not great. I'm really picky abut faces, so i adjusted it and gave her new hair color and style, she loved it, which really surprised me.
When I tell my customers my ID's its free, so take it, but some say that i was so great, that they tip me large amounts. Its cool to be appreciated

Well, I am not an ID anymore... but I had an awesome experience yesterday while trying to get stuff for my tailor.
I went to Yavin4 to hunt down hard animals and get hides and (hopefully) some Kliknik glands for some guildmates. I flew into the northern-most starport, and when I arrived I saw 2 lines of 8 imperial storm troopers. Since I was well buffed, had an inventory full of spices and foods used in hunting, and a weird love for killing STs, I decided what the heck, I'll take them out.
So I walk out, and attack one. Of course they all agro me, and get in a circle around me and attack. As this is going on, two noobs walk up and just stand there. About 2 mins later, all 16 imps are dead and I hear:
"Wow, you're my new hero."
"OMG that was nuts! How'd you do that?"
LOL So now I am a rebel hero.
I know, I know, it has nothing to do with ID... but this was perhaps the best thing anyone has ever said to me in game.

"Can I add you to my friends list?"
Oh , and yesterday must of been "I really need a makeover" day. I spent the entire evening performing complete makeovers for customers that just said "please make me look better..do whatever you think will look good!" Not one complaint or rude customer. I did makeovers all over the galaxy..in starports, in cantinas the tents..yep..fantastic night to be an ID. /fuzzy

I was stat migrating someone and he asked me - why do you only charge 10k when it is worth so much more? I cautiously replied, sensing a joke, and we discussed it a bit. The conversation included words like "respect" Hard work" and others. He tipped me an extra 15k at the end of the session. He gave me a little reinforcement I didn't even realize I needed.

Of course as soon as I submitted that, I remembered something from when I was an ID.
On more than one occasion, people would come up to me and ask for my nose. They all thought it was cute and wanted one just like it. No lie, I think there are about 7 people on my server with the same nose as me.
But even better than that... someone asked for my FACE once. Luckily, this was a human, and I am a Zabrak... but there is someone else running around my server with my face.
I took those both as compliments because that meant I had to be doing something right with myself if other wanted to look just like me.

Another fun one for me, is seeing old customers you ID'd AGES ago that still keep that same look. For example: I had a client that came to me for a makeover, a long time ago. It was fairly shortly after launch. So, I completely redid her. During the process, she tells me that she gets tired of her look fairly often and usually visits an ID about once a week to get completely redone. As someone else said, I'm extremely picky about faces, and I have a very definite idea of what looks good. So, I fiddled around with her. She's a combat type, and wanted a hairstyle that looked feminine but tough at the same time, so I gave her the shoulder length style of all the little braids with shells at the end. When I was finally finished, she LOVED it. She ended up keeping the whole look for a VERY long time, until fairly recently, when she came to me to change her hairstyle.

I liked building a nice large group of people that wouldn't go to anyone but me for ID'ing
