How about the Image Designers craft a Design Box that can be sold to customers who can then take that item to the design tent and remake themselves. I hate 1. not being able to find an ID online when I am 2. waiting in line with all the others who haven't been able to fine one and 3. paying a ridiculous amount of money for them to "click" on me and I have to change my own stats! Thats really not fair!

And what resources would you recommend we use. Let's face it Marksmen become marksmen because they want to shoot things. Image designers become Image designers, because they want to change images. Artisans become artisans so they can craft. I, personally would prefer it to stay that way.

well a muscian can craft music things... why prevent Id's from crafting Id things.
with music it's not a requirement to craft to be a master the same can be done with ID.

I was sorta hoping no one would pick up on that. Why do people have to be so clever. Oh well, there goes my arguement.

How about the resource part. I'd like to see what you can come up with.
I mean any item that does that has got to be complicated, and I don't think that a person who was trained in changing images can create complicated mechanical devices. Two things in one post, I've surpassed myself.

Um, cosmetics could use hides from animals, water, flora, chemicals.... like real life! 
Honestly, crafting is an issue that is hot amongst this community. Some are all for it, and some are against it. No matter what happens, somebody is likely to be unhappy.

Heheheh. Just had to mention this.
Even musicians who craft instruments don't hand them out to folks so they can cure their own battle fatigue if they happen to be near an empty cantina. That would sound worse than starwars1 on the slitherhorn!
Now imagine using an ID kit if you had no ID skills. Like, you'd draw your eyebrows in that curious permanently-surprised expression? You get the funny splotchy look that comes with incorrectly-used instant tan? Or you'd cut your hair lopsided or the dye would take in a sort of mottled uneven pattern?

I'd love to have something to craft. I can see how it would cut into business though. Why not make the kits only usable on vendors? (Now I'm SURE this idea has been posted several times lol).

well, when I was a muscian I walk my skinny tight butt ( In refrance to the booty slider thread) to the Bazzar and I purchased my resources from an unsuspecting seller... Alot of paints and makeups are as she suggested flora, and "ores" we do not have to get picky on crafting just "flora and ore" if you felt like war paint smear them berries on.. but then your getting too specific in requiremnts..
Keep it simple and allow us an option for Expendable Cosmetic kits... just like the vehicle and driod customization kits.. Good for the following options:
- hair colour
- Lip colour
- eyeshadow colour
these are all good for2 days (real life 24 hours clock time)
