Sorry I'm a very positive person - but I sick of seeing this "I hate having to pay" nonsence! It's A PROFFESION! Deal with it!

If I get the resources I would like:

to see Doc's buffs free so that I can go and fight when ever i want to!

to seeArtisans make me swoop bikes when I want one!

to see Weaponsmiths make me weapons when I want one!

to see Droid Engineers make me droids when I want one!

Sorry... but I grinded for nearly 3 weeks to get my MID - I charge becuase I don't have another proffesion like those above to get me money, so that I can enjoy the game. 10k is not a lot, in gaming terms, to pay for a Stat Migration.

I'm inches from issuing myself a restraining order from entering another Salon. I'm disgruntled.. too many people not tipping and I feel bad to demand credits... cause generally people tip more when you don't demand payment.

How about the Image Designers craft a Design Box that can be sold to customers who can then take that item to the design tent and remake themselves. I hate 1. not being able to find an ID online when I am 2. waiting in line with all the others who haven't been able to fine one and 3. paying a ridiculous amount of money for them to "click" on me and I have to change my own stats! Thats really not fair!

Not fair? We have to travel to a tent, stand around doing nothing for 10 minutes, so that *you* can have your stats changed.. and it's *unfair* to want something in return for this *service*?

Stat migration is a major pain in the ass, nobody wants to do it, but we got stuck being the only ones able to do it. The majority of us *hates* migrating your stats, and you have *some* nerve complaining about paying for it.

We took up this profession because of the creativity involved.. to create that perfect image for someone. Stat migration is the worst thing they could have done to this profession. So if you have to pay to get your stats migrated.. *deal with it*

Hear, hear! I used to do all my services for tips. This worked well until stat migrations became a part of the services I could offer. A majority of clients would pay well enough, but I got a run of cheapskates that paid anywhere from 200 to 1000 credits for migrations. This infuriated me horribly. I decided that I would set a fee for migrations at 20,000 credits.

I've had a couple people question the fee... most are pretty cool when I point out that it's 10 minutes of my time. I will haggle, and I'll do the service for a reduced rate for entertainers or people without composite armor and LLC's in their hands.

If they still don't want to pay for services, I suggest that they might get a cheaper price with another designer. I also point out that a novice might appreciate the xp enough to do the migration for free.

As far as crafting goes, I would suggest that as a RL hairdresser, I've seen some hideous mistakes made with store bought color. Putting a short term duration on changes made with kits would likely be a good thing.

Possible products - lipstick, eyeshadow, hair color. The rest I'd leave in the hands of professionals.
