I was told I could pass the following info along

- The new colors on the various palettes will be for Image Designers only. (thank youSir Voor for the great question, it's never occured to me to ask)

- The particle effects will NOT be tied to the tents.

I like to send a Big Thank You to the devs.

My gut tells me that particle effects where tied to tents, but the devsread our post and truly listen to our reasoning and now are taking the time to untie particle effects to tents. And even if they had it planned the whole time I still like to say

I just had an idea for an use for the ID tents,

How about an ID Salon terminal in the tent?

Like travel terminals ID Salon terminals would show you an planet map but it has locations of salons. Master IDers can place ads for their salon on them, for a small fee. you can list your services, hours, and somehow it should say if the salon is currently open. It would nice if you can control the ad from an terminal in your salon to say stuff like "closing in 20mins" or "currently IDing at a party at /waypoint".

P.S. Utess, I like the ID ticket idea.

Are they required for the new 'interface' ?

The interface will be usable anywhere. The tent's function will be revealed when the mini publish reaches Test Center. Sorry I can't share more than that

so i have to be at least a novice IDer to access the new color palettes? heh, looks like i'll have to re-learn some ID stuff if that's tjhe case ^_^ i miss it so much sometimes.
