My gut tells me that particle effects where tied to tents, but the devsread our post and truly listen to our reasoning and now are taking the time to untie particle effects to tents. And even if they had it planned the whole time I still like to say

Kwee, if the devs are trying to look for some use for the tents again now that they are no longer required,
I had an idea pop into my head last night when thinking about what I wished the tents actually did:
What if we had the option to make players an "ID ticket"? In other words, someone would come to see us(or we go to see them) and we make a series of ID changes on them; then, instead of making the changes right there, we generated a ticket for them. The player could then go to the terminals(by themselves) at any time and "use" the ticket to make all the changes happen.
I could think of all sorts of uses for this. For example, what if the player wanted to be changed for a wedding or event? They could come to us a week in advance, have all the changes prepared, then just use the ticket and terminal on the day of the wedding.
Or, with particle effects being temporary, we could make them a ticket for the particle effects so they can activate them when they want to. Or, finally, if a player wanted to change their looks for a short time, we could change them, then give them a ticket to let them change themselves back later on.
What all this would do is still give us the flexability to ID whereever we wished, but give a new tool to our customers that made things more convenient for them too, which, in turn,would encourage more people to use our services.
Anyway, just an idea I thought I'd toss out since the devs already listened to us once and changed how tents work
