I know there are bigger issues, but one thing that really starting the bug me about ID is that we magically do our thing. What I mean is there has been no reason given on how we do IDs, no lasers, no cloning stations, no bio tanks, and even no animation when we do an ID. I could be wrong but I don't think there is anther profession that no animation or tools.

Voor, you are reading my mind again. Stop that.

If the Devs insist on not listening to us, and keep the timer, this would at least give us some options on how to handle out customers.

Option one: Hello there! I am sorry, my tools are recalabrating at the moment. Have a seat and we can discuss what you would like while we are waiting, shall we?

Option two: Hello there! I am sorry, I am recalabrating my tools at the moment. Come back in ten minutes dear and we can get your stat migration knocked out and have you back on your way.

P.S. I'm sorry this is more of a rant post, but we have suggested constuctive ideas on adding stuff (hot-tubs, message tables, droids, etc, etc )in the past. And I feel no reason to repeat posting the the same ideas or even new ones until we get some notice that they we be used.

I passed on several of our past ideas about RP items. There were not enough art resources. And when there are, would you prefer RP items or new art content?

A good starting point would be to let us know the RP reason/concept on how we do the magic we do. Once we know that we could then come up with ways to repersent it via character animation or RP items, and try to come up with ideas that would have alow dev and art time cost.

By new art content I meant things like hairstyles and tattoos.

Both. There is no reason that we should be denied one for the sake of the other. If SOE does not have sufficient employees in the art department to meet expectations then perhaps they need to imporive that situation.

I would hope it's not a 100% one or the other, for example; if had got 2 less holoemote and a full body particle effect around the customers body when IDing him/her, I think we would be happy. Or a few loss tent items and a small droid that didan ID effect, we be happy.

If everyone's art expectations were to be met we'd each need our own art team dev I know I could keep a hundred busy at any given time

All I can tell you is that ID props werenono'd and that there is limited art time.

I could live without props. I could live without particle effects at all, ever (especially in light of the holo-emotes—I still hate them and I still think they're tacky.) What I cannot live with is ID skillgain as it stands and to a lesser extent being the sole avenue to stat migrations. Either in and of themselves are bad; both together are game breaking not only for IDs, but for every player.

With that said, I'd like to see some sort of 2-1B to assist with body changes…or we could go back to The Rack ("Max height you say? Up you go! *crank, crank, crank*" hehehe )

OK, I think many of us agree that we want player city placeable structures. Some like the tents, and some ( like myself ) want a more permanent looking structure. We have been told that the art department is indesposed, and is unavailable for creation of anything new for us at this time.

I propose a compromise.

We already have all the structure art we will ever need. Instead of creating a totally new building for us, let us use what in many cases we are already using. Our own houses decorated as we choose. Instead of coding out a new tent for us, put the code on those terminals that are currently in the tents. Make a crafter scematic for them and let us drop them in the salons we already have. The terminal would serve to enable the structure it is placed in to act like the tents do now.

Can this be done? Is it "more bang for buck"? Would the rest of the ID community agree to this?
