Help!

I'm a Novice ID in a ID tent and am trying to make a lip fullness change to a human customer. It goes through the full 2.5min timer and allows me to commit to the changes. When the customertries to accept the changes, it gives them the message above.

Any help would be appreciated.

After some minor playing around with this, it seems that if the customer clicks Accept right as the button becomes available, it won't take. If they wait for around 7 seconds, it seems to take...

Ok. I was wrong. It seems to be random. Waiting does not fix it.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Nyyxx did this happen with one customer or more?

I had this happen when working on a Zabrak and got the option to change the horn color. It was fairly early in my career as an ID, however, so that may have had something to do with it... possibly there was some programming bug regarding when what options are available.

Some more info...

-Just got novice today, so I don't have a lot of time or experience with this problem.

-Happened at Novice and it also happened when I had Hairstyling 1.

-Happened on more than one although I only experienced it on 2 ppl since I was only helping some PA-mates.

-I noticed it on the Cheeks adjustment too.

-When it happened the message came up that the customer had cancelled the session but they had clicked on the accept button.

-No payments were required, no credits were offered.

-No other adjustment was made.

-The customer did not make any adjustments to their screen (no changing to a face view, etc) other than what comes up default when the ID adjustment screen pops up.

Hope this helps some.

Another thing I noticed is that sometimes my 2.5min timer will jump to 7min after I make the initial change.

edit - Had it happen when trying to change my own hair design. I will try to play with delaying committing to the changes immediately and see what happens when I wait 5+ seconds to commit.

I have noticed that it happens to me if the client goes LD and I dont notice and hit accept after the timer runs out. After that any ID i try to preform gives me that message, and until I log fully from the game and back in I cannot do any ID at all. There used to be a command to end an image design session...does anyone remember what it was? Or if it still exists?

That is VERY strange. When I have a customer go LD on me, I get a totally different error message (i.e. "You are already in the process of an image design action.") from the one referenced in this thread.

I haven't experienced it on live, but I did on testcenter once before the mini-publish. I reported it already, though.

I have noticed that there is abouta 30 second lag between the timers between my interface and my customers. Maybe its possible that for some reason the timers don't match up and one of us is allowed to accept the changes before the timer is complete.

I have seen this message twice. Both times occurred when trying to do a stat migration for the same customer.

I have actually seen this message a number of times. First on a secondary character w/ novice entertainer it happened so many times I gave up trying to ID for the night. It also happened once last night to my primary character who is also a novice entertainer. I "think" the reason it happened to my main character is because it was bugged to let me change something I couldn't change yet (frill tip color) so once I clicked confirm it just rejected the whole process. My second character was a female bothan, however, so unless Bothan hairstyles are too complicated for a novice entertainer the previous explanation does not work for those cases. Just adding in my 2 cents so we can get this bug fixed.
