Thread: Salon Takeover???

Argh this is getting so annoying.
People need stat migrations and other people know this.
Image designer tents very easy to find and in major cities.
Cantinas are full.
What does this lead to?
How about the naboo salon, in which I was told to "sit in the corner or get out" because the doc wanted to do his buffs, and apparently doc buffs are more important than ID work. FYI,I was interrupting no-one either. I was just "in the way of the line." It has also become the meeting place for several little pvp get-togethers, etc.
Two or three afk musicians adds to body count, but not to fun count.

Wow! This sounds like a very unpleasant development. I won't mind a musican or two in our tents, allthough we now have our 'ambient music', which I really like, but it should be coming somewhere from... ok, hidden speakers are not impossible in the world os Star wars 
I have noticed one or two docs sitting in front of the theed saloon on Gorath, too now an then, but never had any problem with them.
Hmm... beside telling those folks that they are the guests in this tent and trying to workout a solution, I don't have any advise I can give you without being there. And your statement that they have literally sent you into the corner isn't really a good sign there either...
I really hope the situation there will get better for you.

If I as an Image Designer can only stat migrate in a salon...
And our Dancer, musician, and Entertainer kin are just as bound to the cantenas and theaters...
Then the Doctors need to take their happy hineys to the Med center.

As an ID and a Master Doc I am very suprised that any master doc would be buffing inside an ID tent.
Why? Because medical droid's +10% bonusdoesn'twork inside structures that arent player owned and cant be called inside a non-player owned structure.
No doc would sacrifice the added 10% buff streagth just topiss offIDers. I am suprised to hear that a medical droid even operates at all inside a salon... they dont work in cantinas. I will have to test this out.

This makes me wish master ID's could boot people from the tents.

Entertainers can't boot people from static cantinas, nor doctors from static med centers…we don't need to be able to boot people, we need to be able to place our own salons…oh wait, I did. Doesn't give me a timer bonus, nor can I migrate stats…but that's actually how I want it—well, not the timer thing, but I can live with that…just wish it timed from /image to /image instead of /image to commit.

For some reason my TC connection is hella buggy right now (graphical glitches that pause me every 5 seconds) but I did manage to find out this much: you can't buff without a droid in a tent—you get the hospital/campsite message. So I would assume that whoever was buffing in the tent was using a droid, and was gaining the 110% advantage.

I've found as a Tailor (and making clothes in the tent while IDing .. wee!) that my droid will sometimes stay in the tent. Most of the time poor little Tailor-Mate sinks into the floor and then I don't get the option to craft clothing that requires the station. I guess the Doc was just lucky--and very rude!

Kwee, I've seen Dr's on Bloodfin bring droids INTO the tent's and buff just fine. A lot of them do it right at the door so they can get the customers on their way out. Some have sat in the back of the tent with their droids also.
I'm very sorry that anyone would treat an ID this way. It is appalling. I've been on the recieving end of ID harrassment many times, and it's only getting worse.

Sure there is. Ask for a fix so that salon tents function with regard to wound healing/enhancement the same way cantinas do: droid or no, you can't do it.
