Number 1 without a doubt is in the arms, where it can be small (up on teh shoulder or down on the forearm), and with some larger designs extending down the arms. Think of that zabrak concept art (arrrgh I don't have the link) where the zabrak has on a short sleeve shirt and the lines of tattoos come down the arm. Although there are no decent tank tops, I am hoping we will eventually get something other than the ubese shirts. So using the slider you pick the design of arm tattoo(s) and pick one that is appropriate to the person's outfit. Some tattoos would have one-arm patterns, others can go on both arms, some lower arms, some upper arms... as long as we don't separate lower and upper arms as "tattoo regions" there is no need to confine tattoos to strictly the shoulder area.

Number 2 is probably torso (belly or back). Now, you may say, but people wear clothes over their bellies most times. This is true, but I think they wear clothes over their legs even more. Guys go shirtless or wear vests, girls wear bustiers. My vision for this is have many torso tattoos, some on belly, some on back, and you use the slider to pick one of twenty or so. The designs could go just on the back, or wrap around to the front, some small, some large... the possibilities are endless.

Think of this an an analogy to facial hair - yes it's all on the "face" but you can choose to have it on the entire face, the chin only, the sideburns only, etc. We could have a slider that gave some options on the lower arms, some on the upper arms, entire arms, one arm, two arms, you get the idea. WIth the torso, the same thing, and treating the torso as one "region" would give the option for tattoos on both front and back, wrapping, etc.

I strongly oppose facial tattoos for non-zabraks. That would be an outright nerf.

3/ What types of designs would you mostlike to see? Can be specific or a category. Pick TWO.

Tribal designs/markings with knots, tendrils, etc. Something big, that covers a lot of skin, and that can be seen from a great distance. Again, I'm thinking of the Zabrak concept art with tendrils coming down the arms.

Factional tattoos that have some meaning

No offense to Kwee, but I don't think that butterflies and such are very starwarsy. If we're going to get any results on this (ever), we need continuity.

4/ What about colors? Black and white only, limited palette, or very colorful palette?

Same pallette as zabrak tattoos.

5/ Size? Huge tattoos versus small tattoos (though this would of course vary by location).

Why not a little of both? Once you pick to put an "arm" tattoo on, have some variations be shoulder only, have some variations be all the way down the arm. Kind of like the zab tats now are - some cover only small portions of the face (i.e. eyes only), some cover a lot. Ditto with human facial hair. It's not the design that really matters from a distance - it's the relationship of space and negative space.

6/ What do you think of the idea of having Imperial/Rebel tattoos that would have a GCW function?

I don't want a TEF, and I don't want to have to be factioned to give them.

I dont fully understand why adding tatoos would be so difficult, When i equip a night sister bicep it blocks out the sleeve of my blouse. In addition, there are armor pieces for both arms, biceps and bracers,,why couldnt they use those slots, that would provide 4 different slots for tatoos. Later on, they could make them permenant, but a temporary tatoo, and even if necessarya kit that had to be crafted ,,at least it would be something ,,compared to what we get now,,which is nothing

Well, arms are the obvious choice, and for good reason. The other place I think would be on the chest or stomach. There are a surprising number of ppl who go shirtless (or with skimpy dancer shirts ), so this is the other prime area, in my humble opinion.

2/ Where on your body would you most like to have a tattoo? Pick TWO.

Upper arm might be nice, but I personally would be interested in tatoos on the back of my hands.

3/ What types of designs would you mostlike to see? Can be specific or a category. Pick TWO.

Patterns and shapes similar to what exist for the zabrak at the moment.

4/ What about colors? Black and white only, limited palette, or very colorful palette?

Very colorful palette. Always take as many options as you can get.

5/ Size? Huge tattoos versus small tattoos (though this would of course vary by location).

I prefer small, but I know people will want both. Can I say both for this one?

Fascinating concept that I hadnt ever considered before. I would love to hear more on this, and am very open to the possibility.

Arms and torso, as was mentioned previously.

Hm. Shoulder and lower back.

No actual pictures, more like designs. ie. "tribal"

Because of the variety of skin colours, I'll have to say very colourful palette.

1/ Arms/limbs of course. That's just where tattoos go I'm also very fond of tattoos on the back

2/ If it were me, I'd have one on my back.

3/ I'd prefer patterns and designs. I could get by just fine without seeing a lot of actual pictures and words, but that's just me

4/ I vote very colorful

5/ Being able to vary size would be best. If I could puta tattoo on someone's belly, then adjust the size independantly, that'd be super good

6/ This idea isn't really my thing necessarily, but I'm not overly interested in ID playing that big of a GCW role.

• Forearm (Cool patterns that cover the whole forearm, like Zabrak's face tatoos)


• Upper Arm (Cool patterns, Profession and Faction symbols)

• All on right side (hopefully we can do each area serparately, andpick to have themon the right, left or both sides)

• perfer very colorful, but iflimited palette means we are a lot more likely to get them I'm OK with that

• I trust the art team to decide what looks best.

Stylized designs—similar to current Zabrak tattos, factional tattoos (imperial, rebel, hutt, nightsister, singing mountain, etc.)

As many different colors as we can get—at very least the same palette as the Zabrak tattoos.

5/ Size? Huge tattoos versus small tattoos (though this would of course vary by location).

Both. I'd like to see varied sizes as n'Jessi suggested.

Eh…not a huge fan of this idea. But I guess depending on how it was implemented it could be okay…

Imperial/Rebel tattoos that would have a GCW function?

The devs are really pushing the idea that all profession have a functional part in the GCW, even though most IDers perfer it if we did not. Sothe gaol of thisideawould be to give us the "functional part in the GCW", stay within what we do, and not put us in /tell hell.

Faction Tattoos will give you a faction bonus (The Bonus could increase mission rewards and/or reduce faction perks cost, equally on both sides)

Faction Tattoos will give you a increase chance of getting a TEF by enemy NPCs (AI: -1000 faction standing)

A Faction's Tattoo can only be done by a master ID that is a member of that faction.

A Faction's Tattoo can only be done on a member of that faction.

TheFaction Tattoo you will costthe recipient1k FPs at time of service, (RP; The FPs cost is for theoffical faction implant). Note: The IDer does not get the FPs, they go to the faction just like they do for buying any faction perk.

TheFaction Tattoo will decay on factional deaths (devs will decide decay percent per factional death)

TheFaction Tattoocan only be removed bydecay on factional deaths

IF you switch faction and still have your old faction's tattoo, Enemy Faction Tattoos will give you a factionpenalty (Thepenalty could decrease mission rewards and/orincrease faction perks cost, equally on both sides)

I hesitate to disagree with n'Jessi but I must; I've killed way too many spineflaps and flewts to say that butterflies aren't starwarsy....

Actually I was inspired by the little tiny butterflies that fly around in the grassier, more flowery areas of SWG The reason I chose butterflies for my column title was that it started with a B and I was already going with the Big Butts and Blue Hair I'm an odd mix of tomboy and girly girl in real life, so I would prob never go for a butterfly tattoo But I think one would look cute on Kwee
