1/ What would be the most visible places for tattoos to go? Assuming a person is wearing some clothing/armor. Pick TWO.
Arms and Face
2/ Where on your body would you most like to have a tattoo? Pick TWO.
if I had to pick 2 then the Torso and the Face ( a single sided to separate it from Zabrak tattoo). if I could have a third choice it would be a Full Body
3/ What types of designs would you mostlike to see? Can be specific or a category. Pick TWO.
again if I had to pick 2 thentheTribal and the Text Based ( i.e. words/phrases'Strength', 'Beauty', etc. in the Star Wars language). if I could have a third choice it would be a Full Body.
4/ What about colors? Black and white only, limited palette, or very colorful palette?

5/ Size? Huge tattoos versus small tattoos (though this would of course vary by location).
Everthing from a delicate line of text running vertically down your cheak to full-body tribal styles peaking from behind the Exotic Leotard.
6/ What do you think of the idea of having Imperial/Rebel tattoos that would have a GCW function?
my thoughts are that if you get a Faction Tattoo you forfit your ability to go convert.
i referanced this picture before but i have to do it agian. this is the best example i can think of, of what i think tattoos in SWG could be

Upper Arm | Upper back (shoulder blades)

Upper back | Along entire arm

Tribal | linear/circular designs | Abstract
4/ What about colors? Black and white only, limited palette, or very colorful palette?
Similar to Zabrak palette
5/ Size? Huge tattoos versus small tattoos (though this would of course vary by location).
A mixture of small and large designs .. large as in potentially space covering like Twi'lek Lekku patterns
6/ What do you think of the idea of having Imperial/Rebel tattoos that would have a GCW function?
I don't necessarily understand the point of Faction tattoos. What purpose would they server other than as decoration?
I know many people would like tattoos depicting their chosen faction, but I'm not sure what this could do to compliment the GCW.

Place arms, stomach/back area.
Colors as many as possible, sorry can never have to many colors

Type, tribal, weapon designs, maybe some animal design.

Well, if a person is wearing a full suit of armor, it's not gonna be visible ANYWHERE, LOL. But my two would be arms and back as well.

On the back and belly.

Tribal or other designs are always good. Pictoral tattoos = bad in my opinion. However, there is going to be the odd person who WANTS Darth Vader tattooed on their back...

Colorful. If we're gonna have body tattoos, we darn well better be able to have colorful ones. The palette for zabrak tattoos would work well.

Yeah, this would vary. I would want a bigger tattoo on my back or stomach, but smaller ones (or tribal rings) on my arms.
6/ What do you think of the idea of having Imperial/Rebel tattoos that would have a GCW function?
I don't mind the idea of being able to put an Imperial/Rebel symbol tattoo on myself or others, but I can't imagine what purpose it would serve in the GCW. Frankly, I don't think too many of us MIND not being connected to the war.

Personally, I want them to be on the face and "bleed" down onto the neck. Think of it, Darth Maul had them on his face and they went down his neck. Hang on, I know what you are thinking, "But then we would have a bunch of Darth Mauls running around!" I would like that to happen just as much as me never opening my FS slot (I want the jedi 
). Anyways, back to subject.
1) see above and others' posts

3) more of the smooth curves (like celtic knotwork, but no real knots), and skeletal (tats of where the bones are, etc.)
4) huge pallet, gimme a RGB color scroller (I want one, it would be cool)
5) depending on the spot, duh
6) it would be cool, then we could determine who is a reb or imp right off the bat if they are covert

I forgot to mention last night, I want a tattoo that is on the face: a single tear below the eye. Think of how cool that would be. You could be all thug style with your tear. It would be hilarious!

Arms, head. NOT on the face, but on the scalp. Assuming we are one day able to make humans bald, and/or to work with some of our hairstyles that only cover portions of the scalp.

Similar to Zabrak tats--designs that work with the anatomy. Simple pictures, similar to the in-game icons--for example, our choices for macro icons...?

The current Zabrak palette would work just fine, I think.

I would think the bigger the better, more likely to be noticed.

Huge palette (the Zabrak markingspalette is very limited, with few bright color choices, there would be little variety for diff skin tones)

Neat idea, but might be hard to figure out a workable function

For males the chest and back. Females the belly button area and lower back

color is always a plus but I would prefer a limited palette. I don't like the current pallet for zabraks I think it should be larger but nothing like the whole tailoring line of colors. I don't think that if the tattoos are small they will show up well under many colors anyway.

um... middle. I want to be able to see them but I don't want to be blinded by a bad tattoo job =)

Side Note: I don't think any race should get face tattoo's besides zabs. just helps them be a tad different.

My entire back or ona right or leftbicep. Or both.

Animals (SW animals), logo's (rebel sign, imperial sign, black sun sign, etc)

Very colorful pallete!!!

Medium to Huge tattoos on the back. Small to Medium tattoos on biceps.

Image Designers should have the possibility to buy tattoo "schematics" at the faction recruiter at a small cost (50 FP for a 5-use schematic).

I'm not an Image Designer (I'm a Tailor), but I like reading this board. If I had enough skill points I would definitely do Image Deisgn too! I hope it's ok if I post...

I'm a female Bothan, and in the SWG Guidebook, there's a picutre of a female Bothan fencer. She has a tattoo on her face just like a Zabrak and she looks awesome! I know that facial tattoos are a Zabrak's main feature, but it would be nice if a few other species could have them, too.

Tribal (or something like the Zabrak tattoos) and Nature: flowers, treesand other such plants; animals; symbols pertaining to the elements and natural occurances (ie lightning bolt, flames)

A full palette (like the Master Tailor palette) would be awesome! I'd be happy with the Zabrak tattoo palette, though.

I'm not really into the GCW, but I guess ifsomeone issporting a Imperial or Rebel tattoo, he should automatically be overt. That just makes sense. Maybe there could be a way to tell if the tattoo is covered or not (ie if he has a Rebel symbol on his back, but is wearing a shirt, he would not be overt; but if he takes his shirt off, he's overt.) Not sure if that would work or not...
