I know that a lot of people are going be mad with me in the near future. Well, that is their choice. I have a policy of no "Jedi Designing" that means if you are overt(Wearing your robes, have your title up, Lightsaber equiped or any combination of those three things) you will not get service from me. I may be an Image Designer, but I am not there for you to use as you please. My policy includes all Jedi, light and dark, all ranks.
"Sorry, no overt Jedi."
"If Darth Vader himself ordered me to ID him, he would have received the same response."
*** Sai'umi gasps for breath as Vader chokes her ***

Is it because they are supposed to be keeping their identity a secret, & this is your way of punishing them for disrespecting the timeline? Or is it because ID'ing themcould possiblygive you a TEF... I don't really know if it could or not, but since it does to doctors, I could see SOE trying to give them to the entertainer line too.

ID'ing a Jedi will not give you a TEF.....we are normal players just like everyone else...only overt ppl can give you TEF. And on another note if you are doing this just because we are jedi...thats prejudice.

check! I've ID'ing many Jedi and never been TEF'd. The first time I did this was in the MO on Dant with TONS of overts about, and I made the Jedi promise to stay and protect me. *giggle* Then I figured out that they don't TEF you, so now it's not a problem.

This i very close to my feelings, but not quite there. I do feel that they should not be overt in their actions in NPC cities. The penalties that they at one time incurred(Saber TEF, Perma-death, all other things that Jedi whined about until they were removed) are no longer in place to deter them from doing the things that they do now. I have no problems with Jedi per sey, I do have a problem with what they have become though. Every Jedi that I have performed an ID on has treated me as an inferior player, insulting me the entire time because I chose not to learn a combat profession.
Lol, Jedi are not the only people that I don't help. If you don't have the decency to remove your helm or hat before entering the Salon I generally won't help you either(special exceptions apply), gawd I feel like a Second Grade teacher telling all of the boys in her class to take of their hats.

What about when the become perma-overt? That's not exactly their fault.
And what server are you on? I don't know about you, but no matter how big a jerk they are in PvP, every Jedi I've ever worked with has been a perfect gentleman, even taking the extra time and risk to heal anyone in the salon, making friendly chit-chat and explaining how the Jedi process works. *shrug* Maybe you just have really bad Jedi.

agree! I'll ID almost anyone once, but if they're rude I'll either cancel the session and tell them why, or I'll complete it because I"m nice, but then I'll refuse to work on them again.

I am on Bria also. I think I have met you 1 time in the c-net salon. Personally, ID to me is a job.
- I have standard prices that apply. If you want to tip more, then perfect.
- I have out of salon prices. If you want to tip more, then perfect.
- I have "emergency" prices. This is my 4AM & about to log prices.
- If you claim to be a noob w/o credits then I ask for your Majon Melon. If you dont have it, you are not that noob then.
- I will ID anyone with credits. Jedi, noob, overt, covert, whatever.
The ONE AND ONLY thing that I will not put up with is continious use of the ESC key. It doesnt matter who you are... if you can't control that then you will not get service. Escaping out of the client window is the only thing I really care about; all that work down the tubes.
BTW, I have got many 100K+ tips from Jedi. It's good money, good people, good work... and if you are not interested in doing the clients then I will gladly take them off your hands. As a matter of fact if I am not on and you get a Jedi client, then please refer me.

My policy is no smacktards. If someone turns out to be a smacktard, the person gets no further service from me. If the smacktard turns to another ID when I'm around - well it's only fair for me to warn that other ID (and the other ID can choose whether or not to do anything about it - such as refuse service or demand the money up front).
I have to remember that tip about the melon. Priceless!
