If you mean player city ID tents in specific, if I'm out hunting with a set of buffs on Dantooine I'm not entirely sure I want to argue about whether or not I can do a Stat Migration now because there's a tent just 2km away. Likely I'd have to live the experience to decide if I hated it, but the more I think on it the more I'd rather have a droid module instead of being a tent-slave with more prison options. And even then I'm not entirely sure I'd want to get a droid module for those pesky stat migrations which must be done ASAP right next to a Graul Mauler lair.

Yeah, player city ID tents would be like a double edge sword. On one hand, I'd love to be able to do a stats migration for a friend on Talus without having to go to Coronet to do it. However, if I decide to put my other professions to work and I'm not IDing at the moment, or are taking a break from it for a few hours to hang out with some friends somewhere, in those situations I'm glad theres not player city tents. IDs need vacations away from the world of migrating stats or they may go insane.

the only reason for this is because I have a character that does stat migration and does both music and dance buffs

if someone needed stat migration I can do it in the same building as long as it's a player building

While I think player tents would be great (especially for fairs, and such events), I would make only black clothes forever (also Master Tailor) to get a droid module that at least allowed stat migrations away from the tent and at best also cut out the timer for Masters. There is nothing quite getting "waylaid" in the shuttleport and having to decide whether to turn down a customer or miss the shuttle.

Since my rl and ig husband is a Master Droid Engineer, this gets discussed quite often. :-)

I'm sorry....I know I haven't been around since I introduced myself, but I think player city tents are a BAD IDEA.

Someone mentioned prison...I'd rather stay out in the fresh air, and set up my own salon in-house. (Lord knows I could be a bit more creative than SOE was....)

Anyways...I say droid modules.

I have been looking for an ID to do a stat migration for several days.

Why should we have to rely on PC IDs to do everything.

What the games needs are NPC IDs that PCs can use when ever they want.

Just like training, you start a conversation, and pay the fee.

I barely have time to play the game in the first place, and now I have search and hunt for a PC that will provide the service I want.

Doesn't make sence, and after reading several threads, it is obvious that the PC IDs are a pain in the butt.

Otherwise, it is Sony's responsibility to police the ID serivces provided by PCs.

Are you retarded? Seriously. Same lame idea in three threads... and you have the AUDACITY to call IDs pains in the butts in this one? Who are you other than some noob with a chip on his shoulder?

GET OVER IT. Sorry that IDs are not on to service you 24/7. Amazingly enough, they are real people with real lives, too.

I hope when you do find an ID that they don't help you.

Are you talking to me?

LOL

Oh child. I mastered ID before the patch AND after the patch. That makes it twice. TWO TIMES. ONE, TWO. (I'm helping him count guys, obviously he would need that kind of help since he doesn't know how to use PUNCTUATION). I know how it works. I understand the system inside and out. The only reason I dropped ID was because unlikemost of the ladies and gents here, I don't have tolerance for stupid people sending me tells asking for, or demanding, stat migrations, and then cussing me out when I wouldn't do it.

There are tons of IDs... just so many of them are in HIDING. I know of several IDs on my server who do not announce that they are masters because they don't want to be on Dantooine hunting and receive a tell demanding they drop what they are doing to migrate some uber-dude who wants to put on his armor NOW.

If you want more exp, go get a friend who will help you level. *GASP* New idea for you?

And, um, what does your post have to do with what I said earlier?

BTW, learn some punctuation, basic writing skills, and logic. Illiterate dimbulbswho try to "tell me how it is"annoy me.

Simply put, No. Stat migration could use improvement but, it should not be an NPC task and SOE hasa long list of other things they need to police before worrying about whether IDs instantly serve whiny players when and where they want.

I have a doctor on another server and I want high grade Avian meat. It does not mean I get to have a meat vendor just because scouts and rangers don't bring it to me how and when I ask.

Those who do not like combat, should not ask for missions to be replaced with weekly imperial paychecks and you should not ask to make a profession many enjoy an NPC role.

Why do you feel that stat migration should be different than any other service or product? Or do you feel that all the support classes should be done away with so as to impede grinding or PvP less?

If you are trying to play a first person shooter with live targets, there are better games for it. If you want an imersive semi-Star Warsy world, you deal with the entire game, not just the parts you want to. Just because you do not enjoy an element of the game, does not mean someone else should not be able to enjoy theirs.

Alright, I have to ask. Did you visit the same garaciousness onthe IDs who serviced you in the past or request their services? IDs may be a pain to you because you came off has hard to deal with.

Let me see if I have this straight:

You were once an ID who hated it when people would bombard you with tells while you were trying to do something than ID and then griping when you couldn't drop what you were doing and help them right? So now you are coming to the ID board to gripe about IDs not being at your beck and call?

Hypocrite much?

And contrary to what most players seem to have set in their brain, Stat Migrations are NOT a necessity. Sure they are nice and if you can find a ID, convenient.

And I am really going to LOVE seeing you get a stat migration after calling pretty much all IDs pains in the butt. Hahhaha.

Maybe next time you should try making a constructive post instead of just whining. Maybe then people would be more willing to help you out.
