Thread: Player City ID Tents?!

How's about you look at the IDs by server list on this forum and try taking down a few names? Perhaps you could send an email to a couple of MIDs on your server and try to set up an appointment to have your migration.
Or, maybe you could politely ask here for someone to meet you on your server to help you with your migration. I bet if you offered 10k to have the service done, you'd likely get some answers. Bet if you offered more, you'd get a lot of offers.

I am a MID and mayor of a city. I have had alot of really neat ideas that I could do with a player city salon, if they would just allow them.
I understand that some folks often feel trapped by nonstop requests. Any easy answer to that is to simply turn off your MID title, when you dont want to be bothered. And to folks that want to do stat migration in the field have a really good point about wanting driods...
So, just do both. Droid modules and payer city salons. Crafters have private craft stations in thier homes and city halls. AS well, as droid modules. Just do the same thing for ID's.

Simply put, No. Stat migration could use improvement but, it should not be an NPC task and SOE hasa long list of other things they need to police before worrying about whether IDs instantly serve whiny players when and where they want.
I have a doctor on another server and I want high grade Avian meat. It does not mean I get to have a meat vendor just because scouts and rangers don't bring it to me how and when I ask.
Those who do not like combat, should not ask for missions to be replaced with weekly imperial paychecks and you should not ask to make a profession many enjoy an NPC role.
Why do you feel that stat migration should be different than any other service or product? Or do you feel that all the support classes should be done away with so as to impede grinding or PvP less?
If you are trying to play a first person shooter with live targets, there are better games for it. If you want an imersive semi-Star Warsy world, you deal with the entire game, not just the parts you want to. Just because you do not enjoy an element of the game, does not mean someone else should not be able to enjoy theirs.
Alright, I have to ask. Did you visit the same garaciousness onthe IDs who serviced you in the past or request their services? IDs may be a pain to you because you came off has hard to deal with.

Personally, I am against another profession lining up customers in the starports for a number of reasonsso, am against the droid module concept. I think alot of us are into the decorating side of the game so, master owned player city locales make the most sense to me.I would favor a tent or a newly designed building. Might actually be cool if they threw the ability into the veteran reward luxury yachts in JtL but, I do not think it would be entirely fair.

I have to disagree. Personally, I would like a driod, rather then a tentso I can do stats in my house. I also like the idea of not having to go to another planet or trek 9000m to the nearest tent for 10 minutes of work. I do not belong to a player city, (nor do I want to) so the tent idea would not work for me. However, I do think it would be nice to have both because I do think that with cantinas, med centers and shuttleports in the cities, that a tent would fit in nicely.
