Let's not joke here...for every "IDers didn't want stat migration!" you hear, 5 more are gladly raking in cash from the only vital thing we can do =) I WANTED EXCLUSIVE STAT MIGRATION.

See I said it & the planet failed to explode. IDers need to quit being chicken. We DID want something like this, we DO deserve it, & it IS fair. The ABSOLUTE & ONLY reason people are even squawking one tiny bit isbecause they had it free & only now have to pay. In a month, no one will even think twice.

If buffs had been free & now they MADE you go to docs, you'd be hearing the exact same whining.

I don't like "having" to go to some doctor to get buffed either. And it's less effort & time for him to do that than for me to do ID work.

Speak for yourself. There are those of us that didn't want to be sole stat migrators. Myself, included. And do you know what? I logged in yesterday and for the first time in months I left my MID tag up and turned off /anon…why? So that people could see my AFK message: "In protest of the removal of stat migration from the playerbase and the draconian system of ID XP gain I will not be providing image design services." I did not support this change when it was on TestCenter and I do not support it now that it'slive. I will continue to do whatever I can to see that both of these issues are addressed in a timely manner.

just my 2 cents worth, what is it with the devs and 10 minute time sinks? 10 minutes for the shuttle 10 minutes for a stat change, they love the time sinks.

If they insist on you guys doing this for gods sake let us walk away after you've started the stat migration.

why do both partys have to just sit there? this is star wars not bore wars, this is a game, I know grinding can be a chore but this is an all time low.

My stats are howI want them, I don't need to change them, and if I did I could afford 50k, I can understand you charging 50k because you don't want to do it but it's not the players fault that the devs imposed this and 50k, it's really going to hurt some people not everyone is rich.

I can forsee the devs changing the musicians and dancers interface to be the same, 50k to get rid of battle fatigue? same 10 minute timer? now that would suck

No I'm HAPPY to do it for 50K. I'm all over it. I deserve it, it's a fair price, & that's that. If you don't want to pay, keep your stats like they are. If you're too broke for real, or new, I'll do it cheap. But for the majority of people wearing comp armor & raking in cash...this is chump change & they can very well afford the perfectly FAIR 50K.

Now to go whine to the Devs for combat missions to quit letting people get 80K+ in less than 10 minutes with zero effort......

I've never been able to get 80k for in 10 mins for a combat mission, nor earn anything like 5k a minute, and nor does any other proffesion, but I will charge ider and iders only 50k for buffs if you like as it takes more than 10 mins of work to get all the materials together to make a buff

Everyone but a few poor social classes DO make 80K in ten minutes. Like it or lump it. If you cannot make decent money, you shouldn't GET Elite profession services. Period.

I wouldn't call a profession you could marco in 45 minutes elite

and 50k for pressing a button is wrong, and once again nobody make that much money that fast, if you'd done any of the real crafting professions you'd know how hard gathering the best resourses is, I'll just charge all image designers 150k for buffs and 100k for training from now on

It can't be done in 45 minutes anymore. Try 65 hours under optimal conditions.

First: technically, everything in this game is "just pressing a button." Second: I've done the crafter gig, and as I've said before, it's not any easier or harder than ID, it's just different. Third: The fact that you have the gaul to complain about 50K when you're advertising AV-21s for 1.5 mil per in your sig…well, it's kinda hypocritical, don't you think? (And yes, I've completed the Corvette 3 times, I know exactly what crafting an AV-21 entails, so don't try to tell me "If you'd ever really done it…")

Well as it's taking me roughly 20 corvette runs to get a powerplant and a scheamatic, and that = at is at least 40 hours of work + fares + death + armour

now if I was charging at your rate that would be 40x60x5000=12 million without including the fares

and I said you could do the profession in 45 minutes , I'm not talkiing about now and I'm willing to bet I could get novice ina few hoursand change peoples stats for free

risk v reward for the corvette high risk 1.5 million reward,

changing someones stats no risk v 50000 reward

Oh and when I build the AV-21 I use 1000 SR steel and 1000 SR alliminium that of course just fell out of the sky into my lap, I didn't spend months collecting good matirials to make quality goods invest in 14 ber harvesters, spend time surveying, pay maintainace on said harvesters and power them with radioactives that thenselves had to be tracked down and harvested. nope it all just landed in my lap

I'm sure you worked hard for it Danny. I just bring up my profit so far as a Tailor and ID as a contrast. My 1.5 million were gained since launch.

You can either have lines in your tent of customers willing to pay a reasonable fee or you can go for the really big money and be all alone in there shouting for a client. To me, there is nothing that I just have to have done. I don't need blue hair, my stats don't need to be changed. Sure there are things we might want to play around with but at some prices I've seen... no, I'll pass... Its kinda like, do I paint my speeder.... Do I need to paint my speeder? No, not really, but the price of the kits have come down to fair prices so yes, I do paint it...

Now in real business, one often will create a demand for services by practically giving away a service for a time to get people in the habit of wanting it part of their lifes... Unfortunately that doesn't carry over to the game where it is usually the oppisite effect and ends badly... Also remember all the IDers who are not masters who need the clientsperhaps even more then theclient may needs them. Suggesting prices is all fine and good but in the end its the clients who will govern the market and prices by their demand.

Off the subject...

1.5 mil for a AV-21??... keep it... It took me almost a month to make my first mil and at that rate, an AV-21 is not worth over a month of my time. My speeder does just fine and and in my opinion, one would have to be nuts to pay so much for a vehicle that is not indestructable. Once again its simply not a must have... I'm saving my steel for space craft, you waste it on silly land vehicles...

Thats why my sig say taking orders for and not selling, if someone wants one and they order it, I go get it. some people like to spend their money on status symbols, and I sell them cheaper than most other people on my server
