I had a similar experience. I was contacted by a player I'd never met or heard of—not unusual—who asked if I could perform some ID work. At the time I was 100% blackbarred (over 2500 wounds) for RP reasons, so I asked what changes he wanted done. Turns out I could do all of them under the influence of muon, so I agreed to meet with him. Well, I agreed to let him come to me—when you're at 1 HAM travelling isn't a good idea. Hehehe.

He arrives and I offer all of the changes as a test-run before dosing on Muon and doing them all really fast (didn't want to have to dose twice.) He agrees on all of the changes, and I dose and offer the changes. After the last one is in place he says "I want to show you something, as a thank you for helping me out." "Oookay…" "Stand there. Unequip any weapons." "Oookay…" So he challenges me to a duel from way across the room. Reluctantly I accept and VOOM! out comes a lightsaber. He stood there for a few minutes letting me get a good look at it, then he was off to protect his identity, or whatever it is Jedi do.

That was the second time I'd seen a Jedi up close and personal, and it wasn't any less impressive than the first time—even if the first time I saw a Jedi I got to watch him use Force KD…that was pretty cool.

He agreed, and... well... I'll let you see the results for yourself below.

The hot pants are mine, LOL. Poor Cerven... when he came back... he was a remarkably good sport about it, but he's never let us live down making him look like Al Roker in a speedo.

ROFL I've lived in fear of retribution ever since. He offered to log me in on Fuschia and finish doc crafting for me (I HATE CRAFTING with a burning, fiery passion)... but I was frankly afraid to let him, LOL. Even though I had absolutely NOTHING to do with that picture... Cerv refuses to believe that.

Someday I'll post the pic of him as Santa Claus... that was entirely voluntary, BTW. LOL

Had a really fun one last night. A friend recently started a new account and asked that I take a look at his new toon. He wanted an icy clam, condescending businessman look for his Bothan. One near-full change later (didn't adjust weight or muscle, changed everything else) he left a happy…er…man? Anyway, the interesting part comes in during the hair color change. He had the whitest fur possible, and asked for black hair. I went to look at it and told him "Oh god, you look like a Gothan…see?" *offers black hair* (Gothan = Goth Bothan) He checks it out, breaks up laughing, and rejects, going with my suggestion of silver-grey.

Now comes the fun part: he asked if it would be okay if he brought his other toon, a Bothan BH, around because the idea of a Gothan really made him laugh. I said sure, and a few minutes later I'm turning his BH toon into a Gothan. Fur color to whitish with yellow undertones, hair to the medium-length slicked-back style, hair color black, eye color red (he had been previously ID'd to resemble a bulldog…think the sarge's dog from Beetle Bailey.) Next I gave him black thermal boots, black formfitting undershirt, black gunman's duster, and a silver pendant in silver and red (he already had black leather work gloves and black paramilitary camos from a previous outfit I made him.) He sets /mood to cynical and starts sneering, spouting off about corporate shills…I nearly fell out of my chair I was laughing so hard. Most fun I've had with a client in a looong time.

hmm prolly not as bad as im sure a lot of your guys' are cause i dont do to much image design...only by request...

yeah so anyways this guy askes me to design him and i do and at this time in the game the average price for an id is 5k (i think it has dropped but idk) anyways he asks if he can give me something, and not wanting to specify a tip(case he gave more) i replied with a simple "sure"....definatly only got some bangles...same things i happened to be wearing at the time...cheap and completly useless....

BTW, this is Fuschia... MUSoprano actually belongs to my boyfriend's account, and he doesn't play anymore, so it got cancelled. *cries over the loss of her edit button*

Okay, I had two amusing encounters tonight. As you know, since I've regained ID on Fuschia, I've worn my master ID title at all times (except briefly today when I was hunting on Dathomir) and IDed anyone who asks for it... which is uncommon for me. And mostly, they've been WONDERFUL, till I had two doozies in a row tonight.

SCENARIO 1

Customer: can you make me bald?
Me: No, I'm sorry, I can't do that.
Customer: ...you can't?
Me: No, that option isn't available to me.
Customer: But... you're a master. Are you sure?
Me: *begins to grit teeth* I'm sure. There used to be a workaround, but they nerfed that in the last patch.
Customer: That sucks... I accidentally gave myself hair when I was grinding out ID for my holocron.
Me: Sorry, hopefully I'll be able to make people bald soon. But right now, the only people who are bald are those who made themselves so at character creation.
Customer: I made myself bald at character creation...
Me: *losing patience quickly* Are you bald NOW?
Customer: No, I just explained to you that...
Me: If you have hair NOW, I cannot help you. /end conversation

It amazes me that people continually think they know more about my profession than I do. Hey, buddy, I don't tell you which specials to use when you're killing Ewoks on Endor, don't tell me how my profession works.

SCENARIO 2

Customer2: Fuschia, are you available to do a skin color change on me?
Me: Sure thing, what did you need? *invites client to group*
Customer2: I just need one skin tone darker... oh, and I can't pay you. Sorry, I'm broke.
Me: *disbands* I may work for tips, but I don't work for free. Sorry.
Customer2: Well, how much do you charge then?
Me: ...I work for tips. I don't have a set price. But I must confess that I'd be a little leery of doing image design on anyone who has already informed me that they don't think my services are worth paying for.
Customer2: ok ok *tips me 1500 creds* Hope you're happy, it's all I have...
Me: That will be fine. *invites back to group* One shade darker, you said?
Customer2: yeah.
Me: *offers*
Customer2: Actually, can I see the darkest available?
Me: Sure, just refuse that one so it doesn't sap my mind.
Customer2: *accepts*
Me: Now you'll have to wait for my mind to regen. (I was NOT about to waste a brandy on this one)
Customer2: Hey, are you there? I said I want my skin darker.
Me: *offers the change, he accepts, I disband before he can want anything else*

Some people. Their sheer gall just AMAZES me.
