That is a very cool idea. Since IDs do mess around with stats it makes sense that we would be able to do something for them - but that market has already been cornered and I don't think we want to steal any of it. I think this idea can be expanded to include enhancing Doctor abilities as well I think it would be very much in demand. This could also offset the complaints if buffs themselves get majorly nerfed.

As an ATK performer (yes, we do exist, despite the nay-sayers in this thread :smileytongue, I really like ManicMarauder's idea. Giving IDs the ability to use their craft to benefit others in a logical manner is wonderful. It would definitely increase the demand for fun work making up a character, and I think many ATK performers would enjoy being made up as much as IDs would enjoy making them up.

I'm not an ID, though I'm working towards it on an alt toon on Bria, but why on earth would you want to buff BF? I mean do you really want to sit around and change somebody's eye color twenty times when they don't even care what they look like as long as they get buffed? That sounds so much worse than stat migrations, and I've yet to find an ID that seems enthusiastic about those.

The idea of a disguise kit is very interesting in my opinion. Perhaps an ID could make a kit that allows somebody to go overt-covert faster or loose a TEFand then the basickit could be combined with forged documents made by a smuggler to make something more advanced kitthat would allow somebody to appear to temporary change faction or something similiar.

On a similar note to the buff idea, has anyone ever been backstage at a play? What if instead of buffing the combat people and putting us in compitition w/ dancers and musicians, we buff the buffers? Apply the hair glitter, makeup, and whatnot that enhances *their* skills to help the combat types. It would help us by giving us more skills and ways to help other people. It would help them by makeing them better at what they do, and it would help the combat people indirectly the same way. This would give us more of a role in the whole entertainment family also. I dunno, just an idea. Feel free to tear it up or twist it however you see fit ^_^

I like this idea MUCH better than the one about "buffing" battle fatigue!

If there were more ATK entertainers sure, great idea. Maybe the removal of recursive macros will help. /shrug
