Thread: Minipublish bug list
here is the most gamebreaking bug for me
- red has been removed from the Transdoshan's color template
- As others have said, the hair color bug is still there. You are the only one that sees your new hair color, presumably until the server resets (how it currently is on live).
- New incarnation of the slider bug. At random times sliders default to a certain setting (min, middle, or max)and changes happen to the person being ID'd even if the ID is cancelled! Eek! More info when I post in the morning, have a huge bug list coming...
- /holoEmote (How it's spelled in the //)is not working, neither is typing /holoEmote blossom for example
- The stat migration window is grayed out even if the person I'm trying to work on has migrated their stats in preparation. The window itself looks odd, there is the right hand side of a little square, then a complete little square, then the words "Migrate Stats:" with nothing to the right of them.
- Still no minimized timer (1/2 or 1/4) for master ID's or being inside the tent
Fixed:
- We can now ID someone who is not an ID more than once, and the changes take hold

- twi'lek female slider defaults to 1/2 way
- male wook slider defaults to minimum
- I THINK that this is the interface trying to keep the avatar within the window and at the height of the window, as the male wook at max height had a head above the window.
- This is a bad bug because people will accept the change and not realize height is being changed. It's hard to "preview" height in the box, and one assumes that if one doesn't move the slider that nothing is being changed. Please ask your clients how tall they were before you start.
Wookiee zoom bug:
- on both client side and ID side, when you zoom to the face, the zoom goes too far and you end up with a blank screen or a spot behind the wookiee (a view of his backpack). You can see the wookiee face coming at you and then just disappearing as you get a screen full of eyeball. The camera angle appears to be mis-set for wookiees to a spot behind the wookiee head.
- This bug is quite annoying becuase from the ID's side there is no way to customize facial features without zooming in (it default zooms when you hit "face" or "nose and mouth").
Strange bug. Was able to change my hair color adn all w/o image desgn 1. The UI showed my hair as being brown when iw ent back in even though it was till black. Now i cant change hair color but i can do eye color. Changed my hair. It remained black on me but the ui registered it as brown. Went back in now its black again adn i can't change hair or eyebrow. Clicked on another tab adn went back to hair and now i change eyebrows....
I JUST DONT GET IT!! lol
- Hairstyle color bug still evident (different animal than thehair color bug which is also still around), changing hairstyle makes hair color default to a certain color for each species, it's brown for humans, white for bothans, etc. On live this is fixed only when the server resets. One of our most hated bugs.
- Head is off of the top of the UI (not visible) on seemingly random customers (been reported on other species than the ones I found): a minimum height femaleRodian (also an ID and while she used to see her whole body in the ID-side-UI, after I saw her with her head missing she began to experience the same thing on self ID's),a maximum height maleRodian.
- Changing my Twi'lek's lekku style results in her lekku ending up in her inventory. If destroyed her lekku end up in the default position. This is also happening to other species, those with hair who destroy the little wig end up bald.
- If you select a rodian frill color or zabrak horn color (there are prob more), it instead picks the eye color that is in the exact same position in the eye color palette and uses it to modify eye color. You can modify the eye color by using the eye color palette, that works fine.
- UI - when window is open you can't make your character move at all (swivel, look up or down), use macros, use alt, use right mouse button
- UI - ID window is so huge you can't see anything behind it (no exaggeration), including your chatbox which is obviously very bad in a profession that necessitates constant talking to the customer. Request a way to make it smaller.
- UI - If you hit "enter" to start typing in your chat box while the UI is up all of the changes you've made revert back to how the customer was on arrival. Very very horrible to experience hehe. The only safe way to chat is to use your mouse pointer to click on the chat box (whatever tiny piece of it you can see anyway) and then begin typing.
- Changes are still updating very very slowly in the customer UI after window. Sometimes it's so slow you get the impression no updating will ever happen. The fastest updating has been described as 1 per second, the slowest, it never updates in the whole ID session.
- More info on the slider bug - When you first open the ID window you run the danger of random sliders going to a certain spot and sometimes changing the character even if you hit revert or cancel. Very very very bad bug, ruins credibility and instills fear in our customers. So far I've seen torso default to 50% (the worst one to have hit my poor Topaz so far!!), height default to 55%, eyeshadow default to zero, freckles default to the most righthand setting, lekku marking patternmove to seemingly random spots on the slider.
- Happened one time as a customer to another ID. While their timer was counting down as it should be, on my screen it was permaset to 44641 minutes. As a result, even when the ID's timer ran out and he hit commit (or whatever it's called), my accept button never ungrayed. Presumably it thought the time wasn't up yet even though the section that shows whether or not the ID has hit commit said "yes".
- One time with a human customer, I changed various things on him (hair color, facial hair color, eye color). When I hit revert everything changed back except the hair color. The hair color stayed at the last color I had showed him. If this is useful, the hair color that didn't revert back was the first thing I ever selected on him in the ID session, and also the last.
Ok I think that's it for now hehe. Good luck with the bug squashing ![]()
