I had tried out some of the ID stuff on myself. I had changed my hair color to something that we always had, and committed. Then I decided to try out one of the new funky colors. When I tried to change it back, the hair color box was darkened and I got a message stating that I do not have the skills to change that.

HOWEVER, I had originally changed my hair IN a player cantina. I tried to change it again outside the cantina, which is when I got the not enough skills message. When I went back IN the cantina, I could again change hair color! How.......interesting....

And, I have to say, I really don't like the new timer. But, I'd imagine it's to prevent people from doing what I did and mastering ID in three hours. ::

I suspect part of the new timer is to give the tents something else useful to do besides just stat migration... that of reducing the timer significantly. The other reason is probably to prevent macro'ing (let's face it, I mastered ID on TC in 5 hours flat, including the time it took to get the money for it).

Sometimes Ive found myself being too fast for the new UI an example of this would be:

I change my skin colour red then green then blue then change it yellow then click accept. After a short delay my skin colour is now blue even though the last colour Iclicked wasyellow.

The customer preview window seems to take a few seconds to catch up from the click in the ID window.

Still unable to successfully use my skills on others. I ammaster ID I have failed to make any changes stick on human female, twi'lek male, trandoshan male.

All the designing I have sucessfully done (self designing) doesnt use any mind pool - working as intended?

A few more concerns:

I HATE the fact that when I have the UI open I cant press alt to hide it and look around. I HATE the size of the UI window so that while its open I cant see my chat box. I HATE not being able to use group chat while having the UI open. Most of my normal ID customers I talk with on group chat especially if im somewhere like a starport. With the amount of communication needed between ID and customer to get the look they want I think obscuring the chat window and only allowing spatial communication while in the process of designing a customer is a BAD thing

on a more positive note I am LOVING the new eyebrow colours. LOVING the new human skin colours especially thewhite Geisha look.

My experience with day one of the ID minipub, some bugs have been mentioned before, so just re-iterating that they are there...

- picked up novice entertainer, was able to complete the first musician and dancer quests, but the ID quest never resolves as completed, even after successfully altering my hair style as told to do.

- while trying to alter my hair style the first time, I clicked two styles different from what I already had in order to preview them. I then re-selected my original style and noted that the ID menu display correctly updated. However, when I hit commit, I ended up with the first hair style I had previewed.

- while trying to alter my hair style again (to get my original back), once the window opened, my blonde hair was previewed as now black- and at novice, I couldn't change it. However, once I hit 'commit' the actual color remained blonde.

- when ID'ing myself and clicking 'commit', both screens (ID and Client) go away at the same time. That intended? Or should I be able to commit the change as the ID and then accept it as the Client?

- my characters both lost some of their color vibrancy upon log-in today. They were never ID'd- their colors were just... washed out... when I booted up and started playing today. I sincerely hope that I get my original colors back or that the IDs are able to actually ID people tomorrow so I can get them back. Changing people's colors without having actually been to an ID is probably a bad idea when it comes to Live (unless this is a scheme to force every person who cares about their looks to visit an ID the first day of the publish to get back what they had the day before )

A bug ... I had an ID change my hair to a bright pink. I then IDed myself (I don't have that color option because I am too low level in ID) and in the ID UI my hair looks like the default color rather than the real color it is.

Day 2

Hair colour still appears to be the brown colour ala the old bug.
Still can't do the holoemotes/work out how to do them.
If you ID anyone with a tip of more than you have the old "You are already in an ID session" bug appears
There appears to be no documentation in the skill tree to say when Stat migration becomes available.

Revert does not revert the GUI slider bars or colour selection widgets but does actually change the image back to the previous state

Inside the tent the timer is still 2 minutes.

Weird bug I came across was when i tried IDing a female Rodian after comitting they had a timer of 60 mins on their screen and couldnt accept the changes. Tried again and same thing happened. Another IDer tried to do the female Rodian I was having problems with and she also was unable to change the Rodian.

Got another Rodian alt to come along and was able to ID that one fine. Just seems to be 1 player that was having problems with.

The camera locations on the UI are in the wrong place on Rodian body changesand Bothan body changes the camera cuts the head of. Would be better if you can see the head so match hair etc to the body. The camera for Wookie eye changes doesnt let you see the wookies eyes instead it zooms in around the mouth area.

I tried to ID someone and they put 25000cr in the offer box. I left the required amount box at 0cr and clicked commit. The person I was IDing didnt have 25000cr and the ID changes didnt take place even I was then bugged with an outstanding image design offer and had to re-log.

Yep, Wookie faces disappear the camera seems to zoom through them.
On some races (twi'leks, wookies and trandoshans) their heads go off the top of the view
in full body view when you are at the top 3/4ths of the height range.
This happens as well on the customers view.

The height on the gui problem only happens if they are short to begin with, if they are tall it is fine.

Bug to report... changing hair color for Bothans, Humans, etc. will not display properly for anyone but the person who had the ID done. For all others it is the default hair color for that race (brunette for human, pale blonde/white for bothan, etc.) This is the same old bug as always... and so so so annoying!

Another bug... as a Bothan I am really short... but in the ID UI I show up in the preview panel with my head off he screen.

  • Wookiees cannot enter the ID terminals... I know this is not mechanically important, but we all know how excluded the Wookiees have been from the amor stuff etc.

  • When clicking 'face' for the zoom option the POV zooms all the way like inside the wookiee's skull... this happens for client and ID.

  • I am a novice entertainer with no other skills learned (no boxes besides novice ent have been learned)... I should be able to change my hair and eyes, but I am unable to... all the bars are gray... when I click on anything in the ID UI it does absolutely nothing... I cannot select colors or move the drag-bars... other novice ents with no other skills learned seem to have no problems......?

  • when I am in a self ID session, I cannot pan left or right or pan (?) up or down... when I move my cursor to the edge of the screen the POV remains the same... when I use my numpad buttons that would normally change my POV i.e. 4, 6, 8, 2 nothing happens

  • we still have no idea how the holomotes work, please tell us

was trying to change my Wookiee height from tallest to shortest....... the UI displayed, for both client and ID, my after image as taller than my before image but when we accepted, I was indeed shorter... but the UI displayed me as much taller than what actually happened...
