I know it's a little late for this (again)...

Kwee, I thank you for pointing that list out for me. You're right about the roll-call thread. I did mention it (had a brain farton that one, hehe).I think everything is starting to calm down now, so I can get back on track. And I know it sounds like another "excuse" but I'm physically sick today (been praying to god on the porcelain telephone for the better part of the day), so I don't want to spend too much time online.

However, tomorrow is free. I have absolutely nothing to do tomorrow. I will be spending however long it takes to sort through posts from the past several months, re-compiling information, and posting the official FAQ, a new roll-call thread, and the ID sites list (by the way, I took mine down, since yours was much better :smileyhappy.

From the looks of it, the "top five issues" idea with the correspondant program has been nuked (at least until further notice). But I will report the State of the Profession thread, which already includesall of our issues. and we'll work on some input from the ID community to prioritize each item listed. I'll have the Image Designers relist the bugs for me,in the order of annoyance, putting the most annoying bug at the top. Then I'll average out the numbers, and make an official list to submit to the developers, listing our issues in the order we want or need them to be taken care of.

If Baribie is so popular, why do you have to buy her friends?

That all sounds dandy, hope you feel better soon. Don't push yourself if you feel too horrible.

To Rieanna

There is a simple solution to the one star bandit,,,hehe,,

The problem with the rating system is that people tend to base it on personal feelings towards the poster, rather than the content of the post. So many people have been known to get 5-star ratings, even though they spam or troll, while others have been known to get 1-star ratings, even though their post includes lots of helpful information.

And the other problem is that people don't thoughtfully rank something a 2 or a 3 ora 4 because that's the true worth of the post's contribution. No, they rave with 5s and attack with 1s.

Sometimes computer people can be such binary thinkers that it depresses me. There are more categories to life than "teh suxor" and "best 3var!!!!!" Sheesh.

Quite true, which is a large reason I think the silly star system is a bad idea (At least with the auto-filter at 1 star by default). But that's just one of many complaints I have with this bb software .
