I think it's a valid criticism to say that if stat migration is limited to salons then there should be more salons about, but I've been thinking it through. If ID salons could be added to player cities it could end up being a big problem with image designers scattered all over the planet getting very little custom as no one knows where to find them, and customers lost for choice and getting even more annoyed at never being able to track down an ID.
For something like that to work there would have to be some kind of communication system set up in game to enable ID's and customers to be in the same place at the same time. If it were only so simple as picking up the phone and calling the salon for an appointment...
There are two solutions to this, one player-side, one developer-side.
Player-side: create a custom chat channel on your server called ID. Publicize it. Have other IDs join it. When someone needs ID services they can join the channel and find their nearest ID.
Developer-side: let us ^$&%ing register! Has it occurred to anyone else that even now that we have a structure we still can't register?!
Or why not add portable salons i.e. add a crafting station type unit for IDs to the DE profession. I mean, why not, crafters have that luxury.

Because we are an entertainer profession most likly.
Dancers and Musicians also don't get portable effect droids. It is rather intentional to trap Dancers and Musicians both within specific structures, in part to encourage a social environment in said structures.
Of course, they dropped the ball thanks to the abuses of afk macroing, but that's neither here nor there.
It is quite intentional for the performing [and socializing] professions to not have an enabling droid. I don't see that changing [at least for the performers] anytime soon unless the definition of those professions changes drastically.
Image Designer, is an odd ball, and it really depends on how much the Devs see it as a social profession or not. But I suspect that same would hold true there [we aren't leaving Entertainer as a base profession for instance].
Now, that does make the idea of further enabling PC Theatres all the more attractive, though.
Performers are mobile. They work in camps as well.

Yes, I was wondereing about the same... every novice dancer/musican/doc can register to his/her Cantina/Medcenter, but we ID cannot? I think this might be an oversight by the devs. Shouldn't be too difficult to implement either.
Maybe you can mention this to the devs next time you comunicate with them, Kwee?
May the Force be with you all!

This wouldn't be an issue if people used the /find command or went into their profiles and did a search for an ID near them.
Plus, I tell each and every customer to feel free to add me as I am usually on but not always at the tent. I've had about 95 % do so.

Have you tried healing battle fatigue in camps?
True, battle fatigue can't be healed in camps, but you can still buff and heal mind.
