Thread: Is anyone worried about publish 9?

You can be offended all you want.
I am offended that you are offendedlol
I lose "mind" as well but when YOU lost mind you gained a hell of a lot more of your level than I did with each button click.
It took me over 2 hours, possibly 3 hours to do one box that needed only 20000 exp. I was not doing on myself but on my sister's toon. This is ridiculous.
I already know from veterans of this game that it was very easy COMPARED TO NOW to level up ID.
I know that Master's, after NOT having a time limit before don't want one now.. however a time limit to do YOUR thing withall your options is much more fun and less noticeable than leveling up with an EYE change.
AND I don't havve customers enough to help with that because they want MORE than I can do. It's ridiculous enough we don't get lots of skills while climbing the ladder up to master because OF the fact that leaves us to spend game time leveling if we want to EVER get to master ID, but to complain about time limits for master when it will not be noticeable for you is silly. (I didn't say YOU complained but I know masters complained about it being too easy for people to level up ,one time then the next complained about having time limits themselves.
I think a different tune would be sung if ya'll weren't already masters.
Anyway I wil be stuck doing stat migration on my sis's toon to level up after publish 9.
So that I can get to master and THEN start the fun of my profession
BTW if you are offended, then you have to remember this is a GAME! a game and it's supposed to be fun not work!
be well , Cyn

Cynnamon, as I've said in other threads, I think you've got the wrong perspective. You seem to be blaming the current MID's for the hard grind now, as though they had something to do with how hard it is. Believe me, this ID community doesn't support a 140+ hour grind. I don't think I've met a single person who thinks the dullness and length of this grind is good. I have no idea where you formed this idea, you should look around at the top issues in the ID profession... you'll see you're preaching to the converted, and in a rather rude way. You don't seem to have looked around the forum enough to know the tune that's being sung. Believe me, I've gone from novice to master reading these forums - post patch, as I'vesaid a bazillion timesbefore -and never once felt like the masters here did not feel my pain 100%.
And as (can't go back to see his name) says, it wasn't all that easy for non-hardcore grinders before. You needed a lot of mind buffs to grind ID effectively. It's just that now, nothing at all makes a difference, even if you have the money for lots of buffs. You are assuming a lot for someone who doesn't really seem to have done much research
None of us have replied because we've said it all before, and we're tired of explaining things every time a new user comes in and starts throwing around accusatory opinions. I mastered both pre-chef-revamp and post-ID-enhancement. Guess what? It actually took me less aggregate time post-ID-enhancement to master. That's right, one week as compared to three. Does that mean I support the timers? Heck no! But for the love of god, most of us masters have a pretty darn good understanding of the timers and how bad they make leveling, not in terms of time, but in terms of sheer boredom. We don't support them, we're not trying to get them altered only for us, and we're tired of having to explain that.

LOL I notice nobody that did the ID grind back in the day that used spice posted here. Love the one-sidedness of all this. I busted my ass and got the grind finished in 2-3 days with only spice as a buff. Spice has been here since day 1, that's a buff doll.![]()

You can also craft effectively. You can also 'grind' Doctor xp if you have a droid too, [set the ID dummy up on a tumble macro and you're set for nine kinds of boredom].
The only real trouble you have is if you want optimal xp rate, and want Entertainment Healing XP, so you have to make a contrast.
