I'm with Kwee on this one. I rarely ever come to read in here anymore, and when I do I usually just stick to posts by Kwee. She's a wonderful correspondant and I trust her. If she has faith in the devs, then I have faith in them.

Just be patient, recognize that nothing is perfect, and acknowledge that good things take time. You're just wasting your time posting negative comments anyway, most people skim over them and look for the constructive posts, including the devs.

Assuming we're all in agreement that players read these forums far more than devs, and that both positive and negative feedback has little influence, why are we ruining the atmosphere of this forum for ourselves? Thinking in terms of the seven dwarfs: let's be Happy, not Grumpy.

I think Syzygy is right on. Do any of you think that should we should believe change will come without dev input? Tell me, what would all of you do, if (as RS passes through these forums, he might read this and take a few minutes to type his thoughts....) Runesabre were to post on here, if we read something from him in the morning saying he understood things are not well as they are. That discord and unhappy players are not good for the game. That he were looking at every part of ID personally and that he were (heaven forbid) going to play as an ID with no help from allies, and level just a ways through it to understand the functionality of it, and the sad state of the xp progression. And further that the design team would be working as they could, in the short term future to fix what they had broken. Who among us would flame RS for that, I think many would rejoice. Now obviously, what I have said might sate me but would not be the response he would give, and thats cool, but it would communicate that he and the design team accept that they have borked it, and that my friends would be a gigantic first step to bringing ID back together as a profession, and ID back into the SWg community.

Now that said, we have asked for this on end for a month and a half. I do not consider it possible that RS and the devs dont know the state of ID. I would think it probable that as they put things in priority, ID just happens to not rank very high. And they might just think that Jedi, JTL, and smugglers problems rank above us. Now in fact the previous profs problems deserve attention, lord knows SMugglers deserve a lot of attention and a bold print "PLEASE FORGIVE US..." but we might not need a mini publish to adress what is wrong, but what I think we would all agree we need, is for RS to post here and let us know he understands what ID has become, that he is indeed trying to fix it or get a fix scheduled, and that we have not been as Wookies howling into the wind.

And my ego does not need 5 stars if any migt be inclined, it was dashed when I realized my poor entertainer toon's R2 droid conned red to me, that it "looked like instant death"

I reply "action not words, your credit is no longer good here."

We can live with being low priority, we did it until 8.1 just fine but when they do a major change to the profession that completely makes us and the customers mad we can not be placed on the back burner for anther nine months.

If you think the ID Forum is negative... take a look at the Mercahnt Forum. We are angry at having been given a few nice things at a cost that most consider too high, but we are angry at the devs. The Merchants seem bent on making enemies of the general player base. Even the Merchant Correspondent posts personal flames if a non-merchant should make the mistake of posting there to ask for information on what the Merchant community is seeking from the devs. Over half the posts there are flames. I would MUCH rather see rants than flames anyday.

P.S. I have changed the color of my font because I was flamed for my "large yellow font" on the Mercahnt forum and told that it "hurts their eyes."

Merchants have issues... Serious issues. What's wrong with yellow. I like yellow. Not as much as I like orange, but yellow's still nice.

Yes, I'm a bit bored.

Apparently the color yellow makes Merchants want to smash their monitors. I guess it's a "Merchant" thing. I never had any complaints about my font choice anywhere else.
