many programmers are at the E3, fine by me...
but, (and i agree with some posters here) the present problems should be addressed first before any risky new update.
the lag on Dantooine and Coronet (Eclypse-server)is still like hell...and i have the latest hardware and 3Gb memory...
items STILL disappear from my inventory, house and bank depositbox and lotsa bugs more...
they should be solved first before any update is done...
why not UNDO the ID-patch and re-apply it when it's stable?
I thought that that was the purpose of the Testcentre?
At least on Bloodfin we have not had much of a lag problem unless it is caused by Spammers and I have a macro that clears that out.
I am lucky, I almost called in sick to work. Glad I didn't as the servers will come up only a few hours before I get off. I suppose that pulling the new ID stuff isn't what they are doing now (at least I hope) and they found the problem code. I have over 50 ID appointments tonight so I really hope the game lands on its feet!

WOW! That's harsh! Do you really think that the devs are really that bad? Have you ever had any server based problems in the work place? Perhaps you should mention this to your network guys and see what they have to say. Many high end companies have simular issues. The test server environment is much smaller then the player servers, so not all problems can be caught. Not to mention that there is millions of lines of code to go through and there are only so many Devs. I highly doubt that Sony would have mediocre people running their systems
