Zabrak palette but with more shades per color

5/ Size? Huge tattoos versus small tattoos (though this would of course vary by location).

Same design comes in different sizes according to it's place (small on the hands, larger on your back)

6/ What do you think of the idea of having Imperial/Rebel tattoos that would have a GCW function?

Faction symbols give a bigger chance to be attacked/scanned (you like to express your faction openly ? live with the consequences !!)

I think arms and torso would be the best. Like some one mentioned in another post, being able to do full arm, part wrap arounds ect ect.

2/ Where on your body would you most like to have a tattoo? Pick TWO.

IRL I have a tat on each arm, one on the ankle, one (large) on my lower back and one on my chest.. . but as far as IG would be I think torso/back and arms/shoulders

3/ What types of designs would you mostlike to see? Can be specific or a category. Pick TWO.

Tribal, the designs are simplistic, tasteful and very artistic

4/ What about colors? Black and white only, limited palette, or very colorful palette?

As big a colour palette as we can get!

Bad idea IMHO. If I wanted people to know what faction I was I would be overt. I dont want body art that screams out my factional preferences. Body art is supposed to be fun, not something to be used as a tool, weapon or other wise devious means of plotting against some one.

Forehead (I think this would be especially cool) and chest and back.

Tribal Tattoos, GCW Tattoos, nothing with faces, animals or hearts that say " I love Jabba"

I think this should be a very limited palette, Black, Brown, White, Grey

No bigger than 4 inches across the human body for examble Imperial symbol on the shoulder.

My character would be best suited by one from her fingers to her elbow, or across her back.

Plants, abstract designs.

Black, red, green, blue.

As big as possible. This is space opera, and there are a lot of seedy characters out there.

I don't think that should be allowed. Covert Imperials / Rebels would not be "covert" if they had a factional symbol on their body.

Comment: What about the furry wookiees? Would they be classified as "tattooable" if there were tattoos?

personally, i want to be able to cover my character in tattoos (she is a zabrak) ; but, if that is not an option, the back (including up to the shoulders) and neck

tribal-influence and symbols (rebel or imperial insignia for example, and not just stopping there, branching to all sorts of factional symbols and beyond)

i'd say go with the massive palette that is available to tailors. they way tattoo colors can match. there is nothing worse than when clothing colors in game clash. i dont want to see the same sort of thing happen with tattoos.

varying on location of course, go as small as it is still recognizable, while tattoos on arms, legs, backs, shoulders, necks, etc, could be massive. but i think size shoudl be adjustable. a little sliderbar to scale the tattoo up and down.

well, i can see it having some, but limited, GCW potential. for instance, most would assume that someone with a rebel tattoo would be rebel, but say they were really imperial and doing some under-cover work? unless factional tattoos are only available to their specific faction, ie rebel or imperial only tattoos.

I agree that it's a bit more SG-1 than Star Warsey. That being taken into consideration, I'd have mixed feelings about it. In the context of the show in question, however, not just any Jaffa has the gold embossed ritual scarring. Only the elit of the elit.

So it it were even considered, I'd like to see it only allowed for the Master Classes. Perhaps a sigal for a given master class, and if you drop the master of a given profession, you'd loose the right to that specific mark. On that note, it'd be a great way to "double title" Have "Master Chef" floating above your head, but wearing the the Master Tera Kasi Artist sigal on your forhead. Would say a lot and add to some RP value.

id say the most popular spots for male toons would be arms and back

for females maybe belly button area arms , small of back ,

types of patterns should be vast in my opinion everything from tribals to cybernetic to flowers

GCW tattoos are a kool concept but id like to see what they would look like before hand , kinda ugly to have some big tacky stormy face on ur back

as for wookies since having tattoos on fur is kinda impossible maybe branding ? just an idea or maybe instead of tattoos like a kashyyk warpaint almost like tribals but with paint on the fur , just a thought

and i also think that tattoos should intertwine , like say tribals on the bicep should connect to tattoos on the forearms thus making "sleves"

I like to rephrase this; I would like the Tattoo's color palette to include metallic colors, and have the option on tattoos to look flat or have shading to give them a 3D look.

i say we put tatoos on peoples arms legs backs and chests and on there head that would be so cool to have a tatoo on my bald head with my mohawk. Also we need piercings i want to get eyebrow and nose piercings.

I love tattoos! What a great feature if added. Anyway:

1. Most visible places: Arms and Head

2. Places I want them: Arms and Back

3. Designs: Henna on girls, Tribal lines on guys.

4. Colors: Single color tattoo, but any single color.

5. Size: From small area to enough to cover the body region it's on.

6. Reb/Imp tattoos: Only if the tattoos gave "magic" properties.

A LIMITLESS galaxy full of a thousand alien races, all unique, totally new cultures from sheer imagination, any possibility imaginable. And yet people want the most MUNDANE, LAME load of crap from the TRENDIEST REAL LIFE FAD they can grasp. Could this be LESS immersive, LESS cool & LESS Star Wars-y? Nope. Give Zabraks body tattoos. Leave it off everyone else. Human is SW do NOT USE EARTH CULTURE FADS.

BORING & LAME. We might as well just automatically give all characters a tattoo on creation now because FAR from being "unique", these will be more standard than Composite armor has become. One more cookie cutter fad. LAME. Flush this whole idea & come up with something NEW, NOT based on real life follow-the-pack trendiness, & that actually fits in SW. If this tattoo garbage is done, we might as well start having The Real World t-shirts & Limp Bizkit music in game because we've left Star Wars behind & just started doing any old junk that sounds amusing. ROLEPLAY for once. Remember that time Leia got drunk & got a tattoo..oh wait NO. Humans don't have any such thing in Star Wars, just like they don't have football or use gasoline powered cars.

NEW UNIVERSE, NEW IDEAS.

Besides which, one of the special things that DEFINES & makes Zabraks unique is their TATTOOS. People remember them as "those guys that draw permananet patterns on themselves" & it's such a unique custom & so extreme in SW that people DEFINE the for it. But oh, wait, EVERYONE does it anyway now.....WORTHLESS. If this garbage goes in, humans MUST be allowed to have colored skin & lekku. And why not horns too?
