Hmm... where to place factional tattoos... hmm... well since most players will wear armor and other clothing (especially BE-enhanced clothings) in PvP/GCW-combat it's not really important... We might think of it like the Tattoos used by tha Yakuza of japan. They are secret symbols of their status within their organization and could be used this way here too.

Lets flash out this idea a bit more then... lets say we talk about sets of tattoos on upper torso or upper arms.

Here is a list of how it could be:

Private to sergeant: Basic Faction insignia

Staff Sgt. to Warrent Officer II: Tie-Fighter/X-wing insignia

.

.

.

Major/Colonel: Special Faction insignia (with more complex art or something like that), Tie-Intercepter (or other fancy star fighter or vehicle)/A-Wing (or whater cool stuff)

Well this is just a very basic list I came up in a few minutes, I'm sure we could find a full list of interesting factioned motives for every single rank

Only thing we should think about, too there is: what happens wit those tattoos when someone resigns his/her faction or even defects to the enemy?
