Phew, that's a relief.

Edit: my post wasn't written in anger but in jest - I hope I didn't upset you. Anyway, let me make a constructive point: craftable make up is competition for ourselves.

First of all, City Salons.
That'll be a great boon to all guild IDs (GUIDs anyone?). Running back and forth from Lok to Bestine or Theed is a pain, and I don't even mention the costs.
I would get advertising III if I had a tent or a terminal set in my home on Lok, to publish my services, That's for sure.
Making Master ID placeable only would also make MIDs feel more admirable by Guildies who would embrace them, if they wish to expand their city.
As for lipstick or other craftables.
Well, I think player interaction is the essence of the ID profession, talking to the customers on a 10 minutes stat migration without any flirting skills is, well.. almost impossible to tolerate. So you'll have to deal with other players for resources... OMG !!!!!
- It'll grant more interesting ways for IDs to gain XP. What? don't tell me you havn't seen Novice IDs sitting around the ID Tents giving treatments just for the XP. It's facial / migration grinding, so I don't buy any of the BS told that we don't need craftable items.
- Of course that the craftables must be reasonable enough, as to not leave the IDs jobless. Sure, make lipstick, eyeliners, hair dyes and the such, but it must be with care. It can be done either by giving experiments on craftables (amount of uses, and available colour selection). If DEVs implement this properly, it would grant Novice IDs the ability to use Lipsticks crafted by other IDs to great potential, like instead of the Hairstyle I colour palette, use the colour palette of the lipstick.
Just give the DEVs some credits here, you don't have to use a skill or an action just because it's available. If you're an ID and an Artisan, why not combine the skills and produce high quality products? (Lorea'l anyone)?
I hope the ID profession will expand to other fields and give the MIDs and NIDs all the flexability that the SWG game can provide.
