- Can we get "beef up" and "very near future" defined please? Also, with regard to mix-and-match, as many have stated that simply isn't an option with a lot of professions. Especially with the nonsensical way that a lot of things are organized within ID you have to be a master if you want to be able to realy help people. With tailor if you aren't a master there's also almost no point. How many skill points does that leave for adding a combat or combat support profession? Not too many.
- If they've been in development a long time, why is it we haven't heard anything about them? Why the secrecy now? I understand that some things need to be kept under wraps to prevent imbalance…but really, throw us a bone here.
- There have been numerous suggestions about interactions with other professions, from beyond-character-creation changes using BE/Doctor supplied items, to disguises, to…well, won't get into it all here. It'd be nice if we had some kind of idea what suggestions are more likely to be strongly considered so we knew where to put our creative efforts to work.
- I'm sorry, but this one nearly has me in tears from laughter—they've always been interested in adding crafted consumables, yet they want to reduce the number that can be displayed on a vendor at any given time? Sounds like a great idea to me.

- So both communities want it…and you're pursuing it…good news so far. What do the devs have to say about actually implementing it?
- I'll wait and see how the In Concept thread goes…hopefully there'll be some good ideas and discussion that come out of it.

- Since the CTRL+S descriptions of what abilities are added at each skillbox are…less than helpful, let me just say here that a lot of the abilities granted make little sense when compared to where complementary abilities are granted. See http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=image_designer&message.id=6115#M6115for an explanation of the sort of revamp idea that had been thrown around—not quite like the one chefs are undergoing, but something that's worth looking into nonetheless.
- Maybe this is a problem with the patch noting process, but I've seen precious few mentions of ID in the notes. Would it be possible for us to get an authoratative list of what's been done to our profession since launch so we know if we're justified in all this whining or not?

- If you can get more info from the apropriate teams about this it would be greatly apreciated. These are all requests that stem not only from the image design community, but from our clients—that is to say, almost every player of the game. So yes, having a beard that doesn't look likea toner cart exploded on you won't make it any easier or harder to kill that rancor…but the players seem to want it, so to me, it's worth at least asking about. And god…hips/rump…please, please, plase. It's noticeable, and not just to image designers. There were screenshots posted earlier of a character who'd been striken with the 0-weight slider bug and the difference is very, very real. We need to be able to alter these attributes seperately from weight in general.
Ok. I thought I would add a response to number 10 too since it is simple. Some unnatural haircolors would be a great addition to what we already have. The problem right now is that there are a lot of cartoonish/punk hairstyles, lipstick colors and eyeshadows and some "wild" haircolors would be great for making these looks come together. Body tatoos would be great. A lot of men like to go shirtless now that they can do that and would be proud to display tatoos. As far as hip/butt adjustments are concerned, how is this not noticable? Its one of the major body proportions! Right now there are only a few ways to get real hips on female characters. They can wear reinforced pants, but these make women have enormous butts and men look like they are professional cyclist. Women can wear a luxurious gown to squeeze the waist, but usually you need a combination of these clothes and a little weight to make this look right. A lot of female characters have their weight set to minimum because it looks OK with a lot of outfits, but they look like they have an eating disorder if they wear the luxurious gown. Females can also get decent results from a light bustier. But that is pretty much it! An image designer should be able to make good body proportions no matter what outfit someone decides to wear.

Now what I'd really like to see: Full body bio-surgical makeover. Using tools and components available from Doctors and Bio-Engineers (respectively), allow you to change your character model in more drastic ways. Some might be simply superficial such as adding head tentacles to a human or changing your gender, but the most expensive, dangerous, and time consuming would be changing your race all together (including skill mods).
Gimme! I wouldn't mind a species change at some point. I don't care if I lose my races special abilities... I just hate how the Stat Migration is capped.

Ok...this is not my area, but as a potential customer of ID I'd like to point something out: I have "Mask Scent" to protect me from those evil, annoying crazed bunnies, but nothing that I can find to serve the same from those evil, equally annoying meatlumps.
Wouldn't it be nice if I could buy a faction-fooling (but consumable) disguise kit from an ID to fool various swoopers and thugs and such without inducing needless wear and tear on my FWG5 when visiting my (extractors, house, shop)?
I'd consider it cool if I could even try disguising myself as an Imperial officer to get past a bunch of busy-body imperial crackerdowners so as to get to my (extractor, house, shop).
And I'd like to really look like an imperial officer too, complete with the idiotic grin. Stupid maybe, but fun.
Is this any good or should I just go take my medicine?
Rangers already have something like this. Their camoflouge kits can be used on anyone (but only applied by a ranger) and can hide them from Red conning NPCs, but I'm not sure about yellow conning ones that are negatively aligned to you.
Any rangers care to fill us in?

Facial hair is certainly a wild card.
I'm not an ID (though one of my characters is a Master Entertainer / Master Musician. As a male player playing male characters, this is DEFINITELY something which would be appriciated by people not only in the ID community, but in the whole SWG community. I've yet to see a single beard (full, goatee, or otherwise) that didn't look a bit ratty because it had zero appearance of fullness. I grew a thicker chin of hair at 18 than my character does in his late 30's. And the lighter the hair color, (reds, blondes, and greys) the thinner it appears.
I imagine a good percentage of the community would greatly enjoy the better-looking options, and ID's would likely notice a big spike in customers to grow out their beards, and far fewer dissapointed patrons. I'd be the first in line.
Also... on the color pallets, if there's any work on that, could you have the artists take a look at the reds? There don't seem to be any decent realistic natural bright-red hues (think Full-on Irish red hair)... the most natural I've found is a medium-dark red, which is barely noticeable as actually being red. Also... I looked into aging my character, but there seems to be no decent option for greying-red hair either.
Thanks,
Lazarus Long (who according to the author who wrote him, ought to have flaming red hair - natural, not dyed, of course)
I'm not a ID, but I like to add my two cents worth on the hips/rump comment that TH made.
Not noticable?! EK! Heck yeah its noticable. Some of the dresses in the game like the grand ball gown that I can't stand wearing because there is no figure to make the dress pretty. That dress is meant to hang on a pretty figure with nice curves, not a stick with legs. Patterned Slip Dress is another I don't like wearing because of the lack of hips. I know redoing hips would take a long time to do TH, in the mean time could there be some new belts for tailors that can come out that are V shaped, to add the illusion of hips when there are none? I also don't like wearing anything that shows off my belly because of the laack of hips, it just brings the eye down to the belly which in turn makes the hips more noticable. So as for them not being notice, I disagree and from the other post on this threed I see alot of other people feel the same way. I about pee my pants when reading how we all look like drag queens:nods:

Exactly! Besides, more important things, ya know? :-) But very well stated.

I can understand Tatoos and piercings being difficult- no one sees these really unless examining your character. Even specific Zabrak tatoos just meld into a player going "Hmm... color on face means Zabrak..."
So the most I could see being done and still retain any semblance of shape would be large scale designs. Like the current zabrak designs. But no "I have the cutest little rose and butterfly on my ankle! Yay!" Because it would just turn into a little bitty blob anyway.
Gawd, I had to really fight myself not to quote those two side by side myself when I read it. It's been posted in all three posted answers, right? Along with the skill mods not stacking soon, I'm getting really confused. Is it possible the game isn't skill based or class based? Or is it class based unless you want to talk about "class issues" and "skill based" as long as you don't try to have skill strategies to make the perfect char for you. What are the rules here... I'm lost.
