You think prices are high now? Just make me start to have to craft things to make your lip color change!
ID is pure fluff and should have remained that way. Its a purely fun profession that doesnt (and shouldnt) alter the outcome of any type of combat. I dont want stat migration and im really not into the idea of going to theed or lagonet (coronet) to let you move your stats around, its simply not fun for me andnot why i wanted to master the profession.
I dont have hours a night to play, i have hours a week, ID was the perfect thing for me to do. Dont change that.

Again, the idea was not to take away your inherent abilities to change the way people look. You would retain basic skills, as you have them now, or something very similar. The idea was to have craftable items that would increase your skill when used.
For example (and believe me, I have NO idea how many colors/styles you have):
A novice ID has a facial reconstruction skill of X. With a "kit" made by a master, the skill would be X+4 or something like that. This would help to generate XP faster, since you're doing a higher level change. A master ID would have all the skills/options right now, and if they have a kit or dye or something like that, they're skill is increased, and they have options for new and exciting options.
Perhaps Wookie dreadlocks?
Perhaps Bothan ear rings?
Thus, the items would not HAVE to be made. If you don't want to craft, you wouldn't have to. But if you want to do the uber-cool stuff, you'd have to make or buy the kits/dyes.
Oh, and I think the holo-emotes should have to be crafted. Seriously, something which can be sold in "charges" should have to be made. I realize that some people may not like the way that this affects the IDs, but seriously, if you look at it from a game-wide perspective rather than just "your" enjoyment, you'll see that the way IDs operate now is far removed from the other economics of the game.
And for those who are angry at the IDs, I think you should be thankful that so many of them are allowing us to troll their boards while remaining respectful. Thank you, IDs. and please, keep your prices fair so you get less trollers like me lol (i don't claim to know what "fair" is, that's something you'll need to work out")
