Thread: Annoying bug? character ruined?
*Whack*
I got hit with this one, too, so it's apparently still out there. Beware.
Kae (who wants her hips and thighs back)
After playing with various sliders and messing with character creation options, I've figured out the exact root of this problem.
It's bad, folks. Image Designing weight on females turns them into men. Yup. They're considered male for all further body customizations. Don't believe me? Try it. Image Design weight on a test female human. Then try Image Designing her torso. Her bust size doesn't change any more, does it? Her legs change shape too, don't they? That's cause she's a MAN, baby. What you're seeing is the exact same effect changing torso has on a male character.
This is serious, and needs to be fixed.
Kae (who would like to be female again)
Odd. I know it's happened to others, though; several people in this thread have reported the exact same problem.

This happens with almostevery functionthat usesa slider bar to adjust the range or shape of a SINGLE option, such as height, weight, muscle, chin, cheeks, eye size, etc. It doesn't affect where a slider selects between multiple options within a single category such as , tatoos, markings, patterns, etc.
In the past this wasjust anannoyancebecause we didn't know what their prior settings were, but we could still ID them. If you're saying that now we can't ID them after this happens, then this is something new & a potential profession killer!

You can still ID a victim of this bug, but her body deforms in the same way a male character would if those features were changed. Torso does the same thing as muscle, and weight is applied mostly to the stomach (and virtually not at all to hips and thighs).

Kaelya, have you tried having someone ELSE do the procedure? Maybe it's only bugged on your end.
Just a thought.
Yup. I've only got Entertainer ID skills, so I had Damsilin try it. As far as the system's concerned, I'm male. I can show you some time, if you'd like.
Kae
Wow, that is just too bizarre. I remember you as very shapely, so I hope it can be fixed! ![]()
If you're in town when I'm on, /tell me and I'll see what I can do.
