Opionons CAN and are many times wrong. It was PM Chamberlan's opion that they Had "peace in our time", I think we can all agree that he was wrong.
You can also be wrong and in this case you are.
Also, I don't indite the French for bad attitudes I indite Ignorant French for there Bad attitudes like all Ignorant People they think they know it all and when there proven wrong they get upset and instead of debate they just instult.
ways ID is like a Hollywood Makeup Artist(HMA).
ID can change Skin color
HMA can Change Skin Color (oola the twilk girl, Star Trek(all "aliens")
ID Can change weight
HMA Can change weight (Fat Bastured)
ID Can Change eye Color
HMA can change eyeColor (Cronicals of Ridick)
ID Can Change Faceial Stucture
HMA Can Change Facial Stucture (Terminator)
ID Can change hair/facail Hair Style/Color
HMA Can Change Hair/facail Hair Style/Color (need I prove it)
need I go on, I think the only thing the HMA can't do that we can is Hight changes, Though with the help of camras....
Now who do you think the HMA are more like Doctors/surgans/Chemists/pharmacist or Entertainers.
Wait a minute thats right they get an ENTERTANMENT Award every year for the best one I guess there Entertainers then HUH?

Snowy here need not be so confrontational either, there is no need to call anyone an afk-ID-zombie or whatever your exact wording was. I do feel that you are entitled to your opinion, but if the majority of people disagree with you, even though that does not mean that you are wrong (or right for that matter), it does mean that your idea is not very likely to ever become implemented.

How do you precisely stand as a minority (or representing a minor opinion... hell let's face it :a one-wookiee line of thought) without being controntational ? if you arent,you'll get ignored at best, trampled at worst. So far so good i'm enjoying the debate.

As far as Lasting forever in the MOVIE they do. and geuss what we are "liveing the movie", so it is more likly second ever see what happens when someone gets exsencive plactic surgery(see Michael Jackson), last I checked other then bugs noone on the server looks like Michael Jacksonn (unless they want to). There is no downside to getting IDed, andlast I checked Plastic Surgans don't make people fat, or short.
As to being a Minority and therefor having to be confrontational to avoid having your rights(rights?) trampled, Check the 60s civil rights movment under Dr. Martin Luther King they where, not confrontational or insulting. Finally, again your not having a confersation or discution because your not taking refuting any of these points, your just saying repeatedly Surgans are preniment and do Body stuff so IDs are Surgans.
Also last I checked Hair Cuts, Makeup, all looks ingeneral where not perminant (even tatoos need tuching up) in RL, so since are hair is frozen in time would it not make sence that all are "costumes" are also frozen in time aswell?
One other thing is that Filming takes 8 or 9 hours so if Make-up last 2 or 3 then what do they do the 5 to 7 hours?

Just because you wear a white coat does not mean that the diarrhea, the slime they cough up, their festering wounds don't make your stomach turn. For some reason, patients are more than happy to show you every filthy little skin condition that they have, they'll hand you their still warm morning urine in an open plastic bag. Be agile, or they will vomit on you.
Also insert "mom" in place of the doctor role and "kid" in place of the patient role.

The ID profession goes well in Entertainer because we ARE like holywood make-up artists. Or at least, we have the potential to be.
One under-utilized aspect in this game is the theatres. I always imagined IDs as being able to change the Entertainers appearances btween acts in a play or show. Unfortunately the timer now makes this difficult too. Ah well!
If you DID add ID to Medic what wuld you take out of the Medic tree? The Bounty Hunters were recently told that a profession can only have so many skills. Since the beginner skills are pretty well balanced to their liking, I'm guessing, they would want to remove a medic skill to make room for the ID portion. So... which one gets the ax?

Why this is so, is a closely kept mystery, but you'll find that in time of crises, you'll just have to do everything yourself. If you ask them for advice, the only answer you're ever going to get is: that is a very good question. It would make an interesting article if you could find that out.

This is atleast in the US because like almost all skilled Professions and many unskilled (see Government) Doctors are a realitivly protected Career (unless you and your hostpitol are sued) so if they detect incumpatance early enough (to avoid lidigation anda reason to fire someone) they Promote them to a position where they can truely "do no Harm". This is true almost everywhere otherwise Dilbert would not be so popular.
now on topic, Until I see a Bacca Tank in a Salon we are NOT Doctors or Medics or any other Medicanal Profession, Like others have said ID Fits perficly nowhere, but as it is a) a social Profession, and b) the only TRUE artistic proffesion in the game it best fits with Entertainer.
Like others have said Tatoo artists hang with Musicans not Medics. One last thing, the closest thing to an ID we have in RL is NOT a Plactic Surgain BUT a Hollywood Makeup Designer. In one movie you got Fatt Bastured, Dr. Evil, Austin Powers, and Goldmember all played by the same guy all looking compely differant. AND guess what thoughs changes only took a few hours. Now what is a Hollywood Makeup artist most like Hum?

Check again. Maybe something like a search for "Height surgery" in Google ?

Guess somebody felt like MLK was confrontational, and shot him. So i'll take your advice andtry to be more careful.

I don't see the point your trying to make here. last time i checked IRL grievous wounds didnt disapear with a little injection either.

Getting their make-up patched up, as i reckon.
And for my proposal of integration as an advanced medical profession, my first post is quite clear as to hwo this could be done.

I think this is getting a little out of hand.
Real life and game mechanics should never be compared! No, wounds in real life can't be healed with an injection,but many players already hate any sort of downtime away from combat. Just think about if you had to go to a medical centre and a Medic/Doctor had to stand over you and perform certain procedures to fix you up. Or! Have to find a donor for your kidneys from all that brandy you've been drinking while in the field. 
Also .. that is a terrible thing to say, Neige,about Martin Luthur King Jr. Very disrespectful towards a man who did a lot for the masses.
All in all, Image Designers are here for vanity, not for medical purposes. We have nothing to do with health, only with looks.
I think this discussion is over .. and has been for some time.
