If you don't have the decency to remove your helm or hat before entering the Salon I generally won't help you either(special exceptions apply), gawd I feel like a Second Grade teacher telling all of the boys in her class to take of their hats.
Hehe... I've had this happen to me before. I usually don't wear my helmet around town, but I happened to get attacked by the Corsecs in Coronet on my way to the Salon, and got my head hit several times, so I popped it on. Well, I got to the salon, but forgot to put away my gun and my helmet. The lady working at the time coughed and said "There are many folks who would see a man walking into their work place with a mask and a handgun as a robbery attempt. Should I call the police?"
I promptly unequiped both, apologized profusely, and (at her request) promised never to do it again. In the end, it was fun. We had a pleasant chat, I got my haircut, and she got a new pet Jax (along with the standard payment).
lol that's too funny, I may have to adopt that policy, if for nothing else but laughs.

In a mostly unrelated manner I was browsing through and read this topic. Not an ID but a Slicer, the newbie mellon idea is GREAT! I've gotten so much stuff with people trying to pull the newb card, now there really is one!

lol, that is awesome. it kind of irritates me when people walk in with helmets, etc too, mainly because when they're just getting a stat migrate I'm way too tempted to mess around with their features without them knowing
Or, if they are getting work, it's a pain to keep repeating "Please take off your helmet, etc"
Though, the only person I've ever messed around with when they had their helmet on was my guild leader's brother who was new to the server. It was great, he had hot pink hair in a ponytail. He got over it pretty quickly, but he still refuses to let me ID him.
As far as jedi go, each to their own... I have no problem IDing them, so long as they are nice

the most annoying thing is that if they want any hair or facial changes, the helmet stays on in the interface, and then I have to sit and wait while they relog. it's especially bad when I have a line, but if they take too long then I'll just move on the the next client and come back to them later.
