And yet...we have bio-engineers that can manipulate DNA. So your leopard with stripes isn't really a valid argument.

I find people with names like "slapa biznatch" and "Neo TheMatrix" not very Star-Warsy (which was one of the arguments used by people who didn't like the exploit) but you know what? They didn't affect my gameplay one iota. It was just something I saw, rolled my eyes at, and moved on.

Honestly, many of you come off as sounding like a bunch of sour-grapes old prunes. I'm sorry that Image Design hasn't gotten much developer attention. I'm an image designer, so there are lots of things I'd like to see. But making such a mountain out of a molehill, just for some self-important feelingto an oft-neglected class (which is what it really sounds like, regardless of whether it's true or not), is really kind of sad. Especially when it was something so many people obviously enjoyed.

Anyway, ya'll got what you wanted. We're all stuck with the same exact choices that we had before people started having a giggle with the ID changes exploit. I'm sure this will go down as one of the prouder moments for the game.

"Ironically, while researching this piece a representative from Sony asked us to keep in mind that many of the players complaining "weren't playing the class right," and that the class was designed as a solo experience. Such a comment is indicative of the original Ultima Online mistake: not realizing that once an MMO is released to the public, it no longer belongs to the developers, it belongs to the people paying $14.99 a month for the service."

I disagree for all the same reasons as those who disagreed before me.

I was hoping to see body tatoos, scars and other cool options added to the master box,,,which leaves hair where it is now

One thing they should definatelylook intois allow female zabraks to have the ability to have all female human hair styles. I was happy about my female Jedi zabrak because I could have a nice human hair style but now im back to old lame spikes. And I really dont want to restart character..

After thinking it over I agree with NJ62 on this. I'm a past developer/artist and I understand how inappropriate customization, especially in a game like this can cause problems. I most certainly agree with implying new hair styles "for example, female zabraks with some type of human hair but with spikes layered/affixed to add to the immersion"

ack, sorry about that. dunno how that happened...

Also wanted to say that it WAS funny to see people with odd hairstyles, but it was starting to get old and annoying while degrading mine and othersgaming experience. Its good that its gone mostly because there are a lot of immature kids that play this game and crave attentionthey would have continued to show off by using this hair style loophole.

Honestly in my view I know it's not hard to implement but they do have time issues and have to cut back on certain things, but I only hope that we can get some added features to image designing, which in my view appearance is a big deal to most people in this game.

  1. If we had temporary craftable wigs, it would be a different story. Anyone can't wear hair grafted to a mysteriously hornless/ridgeless head.

  2. Name one wig in any starwars movie.

This entire thread is ridiculous.. it's like me, a 28 year old woman.. standing around in RL whining and bitching because god didn't give me my OWN **edit** to play with.No matter how much I might like to have one of my very own to fiddle with, I'm a human female, which means hips, **edit** and everything else that fits my race/gender. If I walked around with a goatee, 38 DD's, womanly hips and a bulge in my crotch would I look cool? NO.. I'd look like a complete freak.. the same as humans with Lekku and Twi'leks with horns.

I'm an image designer.. it's my profession and my pleasure to make people look beautiful and yes in some cases not so beautiful.. but hopefully unique all the same. I -refuse- to spend my time making people look like idiots.. and yes, that's exactly what they look like. While the twi'lek dancer with bothan hair is shaking his/her 'thang' and feeling like the bees knees they are totally missing the point that 9 out of 10 people are looking at them and rolling their eyes, not thinking "Wow I wish I could do that".

It was an exploit, it was fixed... now just get over it, it's not going to change back and thank god for that.

If you want to make creations that haven't existed before, go play Impossible Creatures.

Me, I'll play SWG with the ID exploit removed!

Ok true not anyone can wear a wig.. However several people wear a wig in Star wars, the fro Lando was wearing was clearly a wig, such a good one in fact you didnt notice it, Count Dooku was wearing a toupe, and of course ( though he will never admit it) Yoda wore one when he was a lot younger !!!

But seriously Im a zabrak, I had little itty bitty horns before, im sure I could have had a wig, and thats what I called my do a Wig, It was that rocket kinda marine hlemet looking cut, and it would cover horns for sure, I agree that a wookie with a lekku is going to far but of course a lot of races could wear a wig, if they can wear a helmet I dont see why not.
