Rereading Runesabre's post, maybe we're jumping to conclusions. All he really says is that he wants ID to be fun and unique for us and those who use our services. We're the ones assuming he means combat. Please continue to share whether or not you are fond of the idea of influencing combat, assuming that it would be in a way that would make us desirable to use but not needed

I've never liked the idea of disguises.
I've never liked the idea of craftables (okay, maybe a couple).
What I do want to see is greater customization of the SWG Avatar, accessable through us. Any time you grant us new abilities or introduce a new form of demand for our profession, you run the risk of changing the way the player base percieves/feels about us. I, for one, don't want that to change. I don't want to become a key player in the GCW, I don't want to grind out surgical kits from a crafting tool until I get carpal tunnel syndrome and collapse from boredom, and I don't want fat or ghastly looking characters begrudgingly pounding me with /tells to get rid of the side effects of buffs.
I do want to be sought out for my artistic skill. I want to be able to allow people to express themselves with tattoos, hip/rump adjustments, hair colors, and big fluffy santa beards.
Does that seem fair?

Yeah, I mentioned in my first post that I was blowing it out of proportion.I reallydont really want to risk it though, what if vague comments are being made to test the water to see how ID'ers feel?
Image Design doesnt need a chef sized revamp, we just need the art department to kick in to high gear and get cracking on some new things for us to give our customers that we already have.

I for one do not like it. We will be become a burn out profession as people will just keep coming to use so they will look there best.

Raid at "insert some guild name here", oh crap I'll need an ID or im going to be fat all night!
Sound like fun to anyone? Not me. Like others have said it will be tell hell much like a doctor gets.
New styles, a new gui, more colors yes... making peoples looks change from food / spice is a bad thing. Most people I have come in contact with are very picky about their looks, and if food changed it they would have to get it all set back to normal. Which in some cases (people very picky on their looks) has taken up to 45 minutes.
