Hello,
I am Master ID on Bria and the new rules have absolutely caused NOTHING but trouble for me and my potential clients.
As many have said...the clientsthink that 1 wound shouldn't matter. I have all of this in my bio and repeatedly ask clients about their wounds...they never think I reallymean ZERO wounds. Isn't it hard enought to be an ID but to add this to our profession is simply WRONG. I wasted I don't know how much time with this last night and frankly I don't even want to do stats any more because of this. Most of the time lately Idon't even get paid! We should not have to be medical people!! We are in the business of Image Design, HELLOOOOOO.......
We need this fixed and we need it now! Clients do not have a clue anyway when it comes to stat migration....imho we need to change the whole stat migration process becauseI, for one, am fed up with having to explain the whole process!
thanks for listening....

I'm very disappointed we get 13.1 today and there's no bugfix for this. I have reported this bug 3 times in Tiggs' bugthreads, once by /bug, and it hasn't even been acknowledged as being an issue yet.
Now, with 13.1 a lot of new issues will come up, which get a higher prioritization. I hope it will not end like the smuggler's autopull issue, which should have been fixed in 10.x, if I recall correctely. Hasn't beenfixed yet.
@TechnoCan
I think you mentioned in another thread, this issue was already found on TC and you reported it there. Do you have any news about it, is someone working on that?

Meself personally having a teeny tiny bit of medic I don't mind this but I can see how annoying it can be, the only thing I can suggest is float over thier HAM and check each one is at it's max.

Yes, that's what I'm doing already. Doesn't help on wounds on secondary stats, but it filters out some of the clients with wounds.

Ran into this problem in C'net over on Sunrunner last night. Fortunately, I saw the tiniest bit of black on the customer's ham bar... I do happen to have novice medic because I tend to keep people healed up when dancing. Sure enough, about 20 points of damage in each of the various mind pools.
Me, "Sorry, I cannot migrate your stats because you have wounds."
Customer, "I do? Where?"
Me, "Your mind pools. The migration won't work if you have even 1 point of wounds anywhere."
Customer, "Oh. I'll be right back. Do you mind waiting for me? I'll definately make it worth your while."
About 10 minutes later, they came back all healed. I took two customers for some quick hair changes while I waited. The customer was true to their word. I did a few cosmetic changes and the migration and they gave me a rather hefty sum of money.
It would have been VERY frustrating to go through all those cosmetic changes, have it all perfect and then have the migration blow the session. I hope this bug is fixed very soon, and thank you for pushing for it TechnoCan.

Kyree wrote: "There should be an indication at the *beginning* of the session that a migration won't work because of wounds, but it should not say how much or what kind of wounds the customer has. That sort of information is nothing we need to know. "
Great idea, I totally agree.

I used about hour to teach one newbiew how to heal wounds - and only thing what he wanted was stat migration
hmm...actually he wanted to wear unsliced full composite armor....

I have had several sessions cancel now, due to wounds...when i specifcally ask the patron ahead of time if they have wounds. "i have wounds?" GAH! I also had a guy asking in spatial if it was true stat migrations couldn't be done if you were wounded. Like I would lie about it. *sigh*

This stupid no wounds thing is almost enough to make me consider cutting back on ID. So far it has not cost me any business but a simple process that should only take 4 minutes can now take up to an hour as some one runs around begging for heals. Not fun for me, not fun for my client, and I am guessing aggrivating to every medic out there.
On the plus side my friends are aware of this and make sure to be totally healed before asking for changes. And ID is invaluable to some of my RP fun so I won't drop it. But I will throw a big party if/when they fix this with a few lines of code that say
Scanning client:
IF ID_CHANGE=negative_point_total
then ID session refused generate error message.
Else ID_session permitted.
or
Simply institue the same change that theyALREADY have for armor that when the buffs wear off and your stats would have resulted in an incap they give you a complimentary 1 point to avoid incap. <--- NOTE: Preferred solution using existing code
