I made Tailor and Architect by grinding during my shuttle waits and on jogs out to short-distance missions. Pull up the windows, assemble a belt or three, do the mission, jog on back. It kept me in cash for resources and got me XP for everything else I did. IDing while I wait for a medic to get to me is common, too. Sometimes I wonder more people don't notice I'm an ID even with my tag off because one minute I'm white, the next I'm purple, the next I'm pink and orange ....

(And yeah, it took me five months to make Tailor. But there was a lot of other game in the meantime, too.)

If that was possible now I would try that out... but do the math... casually play an image designer to get to Master level.

Think about that one for a while... lets say you get experience equal to ½ hour 'grind-experience' per day if you casually play to advance your character, and that's if you're lucky.

That ends up in at least 3 months casual gaming if you play every day. To master one single profession, a profession which no one want to deal with UNLESS you are of master level.

I mastered Chef while grinding Image Design. I don't recommend it to anyone, as Chef is just no fun at all.

Hehe. Oops. I'm doing that. It takes me usually over three months to master any profession (I am veeeery slow causse I hate grinding). For ID I just change my eye color a couple times a noght or while waiting for a shuttle or whatever. Almost to Novice ID. I started ummm... whenever Cantina Crawl 6 was hehe. Maybe a month... or two? I am enjoying myself, but I agree that if you wanted ID to be your main thing this grind would be a pain.
