Thread: Help me get to master ID!!
China, was that really necessary? He was very polite about what he wanted to know and several of his questions were things that couldn't be answered in the FAQ. Your post was unnecessarily rude.
Im not here to assist someone AFK-macro grind. Your willingness to answer his questions only supports the AFK-macro entertainer hate displayed on every server. By helping him grind you are not helping the community, you are hurting it.
Im not here to win happy votes either. Im a sound member of the TRUE image designers. You know, the ones who worked thier way through the profession, explored its beauty, and applied it to success? Am I rude or reasonable?

I think your post was rude. This person is simply looking for help. There are holocron grinders in EVERY SINGLE profession, and anytime someone enters a profession they're new to, they're going to need help. We can't do a **edit** thing about having holocron ID's in our profession, but we can do our part to ensure that they're in and out as quickly as possible, if that is their desire. This is part of the reason we're gaining a reputation as rude and unreasonable. I am also a TRUE image designer - I have never had the "privilege" of owning a holocron and if I ever do, it will not be master ID I give up to pursue my Jedi slot, should I decide to use it. And I resent the implication that I am less than dedicated to my profession.
As long as the devs insist on putting people through this circus of grinding out professions they don't want in order to open their force sensitive slot, we are going to have people in our forum looking for help. Would you rather get them out as quickly as possible (which is generally their desire as well as ours), or would you rather antagonize them and further alienate people from our once-friendly forum?
