Thread: Update on Image Designer hotfixes coming this week.
Sorry, I don't know how to edit my posts.
I forgot to say that I was unable to determine if anyone else was having the same problem. None of the other six people in the tent would answer when I asked. I am trying very hard not to lose my composure over the way both this game and the players in it are treating me.

Thank you very much for that.
At least here in the forums I can get a response.
It appears there was an update this morning.
From what I can tell. Image Designing yourself (inside a tent and outside) results in the same time delays. Image Designing a customer results in the same time delays as before the update.
So if this is the intended effects it is more beneficial to ID a client.

I feel your pain Just_Bri. Apparently the Devs and the Image Design Correspondent don't really care about us non masters. If you think its tough getting a customer now wait till the reduce the timer for the Master Image Designers you wont stand a chance.

Kwee is working her backside off for you. Don't even start that. We've both been pestering the devs to reexamine the xp changes.
I think if tried to master ID from scratch you would understand my frustration. Kwee pushed for cutting the timers for MID's and that will makes things worse for us non masters.
It is nearly impossible for a non powergamingperson like myself to make master.
Just_Bri, the other ID's probably weren't ignoring you deliberately - the size of the IDwindow and the common use of groupchat to talk to clients mean they probably didn't see you or anything you said. I've had people I know suddenly notice me after 20-minutes and then apologize profusely (and I've done the same with my ID character and now tend to sit so that I can see the tent door out of the corner of my eye so I can spot new arrivals). There needs to be a rescale or transparency option on the ID-ing window, I think. Yes, you can use ALT to hide the window but that's only practical once all changes have been agreed and the timer is ticking down (most likely on a Stat Migration).
My main bugbear is the one other people have mentioned - the lack of scaling XP.My novice ID charactergets the same XP as a much more proficient ID (or even Master) who can do much more, and only slightly more - by dint of beign able to do eyes and stat migrations- than a Novice Entertainer.Other professions get more XP for doing more complex actions, so why not ID's? At present I get the same XP for making a simple eye-color change as for doing a full makeover - eyes, hairstyle, hair color, lipstick ...
I know I've practically screamed it from the roof tops, but please remove the bloody timer! I am a former MID thatgave it up to chase my FS Slot...now, I'm really wishing I had not. How about this to prevent "power-leveling" grinders?: Allow an ID to train only 4 skills per day with removal of timer, this would give us that want to be an ID a sense of progress at the very least and would make grinderswait 5+ days...Wow! Right on target with most other professions now. Isn't that a novel concept?! Or...allow those that had previous mastery of ID to advance without timer (makes sense if we've done it before...we should know what to expect and how to excel)! Please do something about the timer, if you can't or dont intend to remove it...then at least tell us!
