I agree with the masses on this , I was VERY dissapointed that the hacks at SWGy land didn't do something special for Halloween. I realize that some purists don't want a holiday in their little starwars world, and personally I kinda pity them. It's a game folks...a game. But I degress, I used to play a game called 'Dragonrealms' about 5 years ago (games still around). It was a cool game, I stopped playing due to my repeated infractions with the designers. Tee Hee. Anyway, in DR (which was most certainly a wizards and warriors type game)...the holidays were awesome. The folks at Simultronics kicked butt in doing special little things for the players during the holidays. Example; during X-mas a flying fat man in a red sleigh was flying over Crossing dropping presents from his sleigh. It didnt matter that it didn't make sense. It didn't matter that the mass majority didn't believe in St. Nick. It didn't matter that 'it broke game continuity'. The designers did it just for the hell of it, and it was a blast!! For me, it is disapointing that the designers can't put little easter eggs in the game. Personaly, I can manage disbelief for a day. Hell, they coulda just added jack-o-lanters on the street corners, or put all of Valarians goons in bedsheets for a day. I realize that this could have been put elsewhere, then in the ID catagory. But man, that would have been AWESOME if the devs could have let us Image designers do something special on this holiday. I mean, as an ID...(from earth) the 2 main dress up holidays would be halloween and Christmas/Kwanzaa.

Anyhoo, I'm sadly dissapointed with the folks at SWGy...sorry for the rant.

Well, the devs didn't do anything, but in 2 hours, on the Corbantis server, I'm hosting a Halloween Costume Contest and party. I'd love it if some of you would stop by, in case you have alts on this server. Or even create a new,odd looking character in honor of the event.

I'm the hostess of this event, and as such.... I turned myself into Cher for the evening. Bright yellow gown, long black hair, and that nose....! I even got a friend of mine to come in a matching "Sonny" outfit.
