Thread: It's Halloween, where's our costumes?

I heard that we were approved for unnatural hair color. It's a shame it didn't make it for the spookiest day of the year. Any updates on this?

I noticed the forum has pretty much been floating the same posts for a long time now. Either we have nothing to talk about or there aren't very many Image Designers anymore. I'm leaning toward the second. When I started I could go to a city, run a search and find at least 5. Now I go to a place as populated as Coronet in mid day and upon running a search I'm lucky to find any IDers besides myself. What happened? Everyone get Holocron and Creature Handler fever? It's a deadly disease.

I notice the same thing. Fewer and fewer iders,,

Plus we have filed our suggestions and wish list,,but not much response and not much to look forward to

If only they would provide a few new capabilities ,,something new to offer the player base,,anything,,,but for now Id is a lot of points for not much benefit,,

I haven't heard anything back from Jake Rodgers about the unnatural hair colors yet.

As for the forum being quiet I think it's probably a bit of both. We've always had a really low population, and many ID'ers are moving onto other professions. I've noticed a dramatic decline in customer requests, I imagine others are feeling it too.

Hmm Halloween on SWG, since when halloween has anything to do with Star Wars.

I guess alot of people forget the first line of the Star Wars universe...

We have different species in the game dressed in so many different ways, why would you want costumes...

I wonder whats next someone dressed like a pilgrim for Thanksgiving or dressed like Frosty for christmas... please...

Do not mix our reality with Star Wars when it has nothing to do with it.

It is true that a lot of IDers are moving on to other professions, I feel that part of this is due to people are using the id macros to get it quick becasue they think that i's a quick and easy profession. I spent around a month starting at the launch of the game griding my experience, and learning what went well with what etc... It made me committed to the profession and helped me to understand how it worked. There are people these days who will use their macros to grind to master ID and then simply give it up in a day or two.

As far as customers go, I'm as busy as I have ever been because I've developed a fairly large client-base over the life of the game. So I haven't seen any slowdown, people always want changes you just have to be social and friendly and make the whole experience enjoyable for them, something I learned from Zel aka Moolyssa who is another mater ID on bloodfin.

It has been pretty quiet recently. I for one am considering wandering off into other professions, I like ID andI'mbeen told I'mpretty good at it....but over the last week or so I've wanted something more. I'll miss not being able to tweak my appearance when I want to...but sacrifices have to be made I guess.

Pirita.. So they don't have to pull out masks and start people begging for candy. However it would have been nice to see something done to celebrate a holiday in general. Perhaps in the form of an event. It wouldn't be hard to do something within the tightwaded Star Wars world to make the day special for us in real life.

Regular customers are not the type of decline I mean. There will always be thosepeople that want this and that tweaked and then tweaked again. Kwee would be hounding some poor ID to death if she couldn't do her own makeup, hair, and body

What I have seen a decline in is people stopping you on the streets or in the cantina to request a change. I used to have to turn my title off in town to get anything done. There is a lot less impulse buying of ID services than there was in the first several weeks of the game when everyone was looking for a better haircut

Actually, I've been having kind of the opposite problem. It used to be, as long as I stayed out of Coronet, I was the only MID in town. Now it seems I can't go anywhere without there being three other masters in the same city. It's not like I'm hurting for business, or I never get to ID people. However, I do miss the days when people would run up to me saying "I've been waiting all day for one of you to come on." Oh well, at least people are taking an interest in my profession. Can't really complain about that can I?
