Thread: Making an ID is now painfully slow, isn't it?
I used the tents thing in my math... still 125 hours
62.5 hours x 2 people in tent= 125 manhours
125 hours (self IDin tent)
you're right I didn't break it down into man-hours originally, that's my fault.
Just think how long it would take to master if you actually played the Image Designer and didn't grind through it.As if you'dreally get customers tolet you make the changes one at a time every 2 to 5 minutes so that you could get experience.
It is too slow indeed. I even have 2 accounts. Filled the 2 first id skill boxes on the entertainer tree. Used almost 2 hours on that. This goto change! Other than that the new changes looks cool enough.
I hate it.. With all my heart. This is just stupid. NIce to add more, but the timer is just a pain...
Next is doctor buffs taking 15min to apply. Enjoy SWG all...
Who wants to wait?...
I just had a holo also telling me to Master ID. I had mastered Entertainer as my first profession including ID 1-4 and I gave it up for medic. Yes it was easy to get xp then. Now it does totally suck.I am on ID 2 and it is taking far too long and is dull, dull, dull. In a tent everyone goes to the Master ID who can do everything for them. I can only change hair at the moment and i don't have and ID profession to display above my head.
I am not a typical Holo grinder. I mastered Medic, Marksmanand Scout for fun. Got half way through Fencer before struggling to find trainers and then decided to get another Holo which was Commando. ID is my third Holo. Ironically Entertainer was my first Holo.
I have heard people say that it will possible to master ID in about 60 hours. It will certainly depend on how lucky you are in a tent. I am one of those players who sometimes has to go a few days without playing and then maybe an hour a day some weeks. Do I want to log on and hang around in a tent everytime I play just to get to Master ID. I think i would like to still go hunting and do other guild stuff too. With that in mind I can't imagine Mastering ID this side of Christmas.
I was actually looking forward to having a go at ID as I thought it would be fun to do something different from killing, looting and pillaging. Now I have changed my mind.
