I just had a holo also telling me to Master ID. I had mastered Entertainer as my first profession including ID 1-4 and I gave it up for medic. Yes it was easy to get xp then. Now it does totally suck.I am on ID 2 and it is taking far too long and is dull, dull, dull. In a tent everyone goes to the Master ID who can do everything for them. I can only change hair at the moment and i don't have and ID profession to display above my head.

I am not a typical Holo grinder. I mastered Medic, Marksmanand Scout for fun. Got half way through Fencer before struggling to find trainers and then decided to get another Holo which was Commando. ID is my third Holo. Ironically Entertainer was my first Holo.

I have heard people say that it will possible to master ID in about 60 hours. It will certainly depend on how lucky you are in a tent. I am one of those players who sometimes has to go a few days without playing and then maybe an hour a day some weeks. Do I want to log on and hang around in a tent everytime I play just to get to Master ID. I think i would like to still go hunting and do other guild stuff too. With that in mind I can't imagine Mastering ID this side of Christmas.

I was actually looking forward to having a go at ID as I thought it would be fun to do something different from killing, looting and pillaging. Now I have changed my mind.

40 min from id4 in entertainer to mid. got it done, probably, hours before the patch hit. after seeing the timer, i'm really glad i did. that thing's gotta go.

Has anyone tried to figure out the time it will take now to master?

I did some simple calculations according to the exp that a friend got when she changed my color.

If my math was right it is between 44 and 48 hours of play time waitin on timers to master. I hope this isnt correct because that is just stupid to take that long to do this proffesion.

Assuming optimal conditions:

6000XP at 100XP per minute

435000XP at 300XP per 2 minutes 30 seconds

For a grand total of 3685 minutes or 2 days, 13 hours, 25 minutes from Novice Entertainer to 4-4-4-4 Image Designer.
